Is God's Spirit the Tree of Life?

God’s Spirit is the Tree of Life to our point of view. I also cover what the tree of knowledge is. One of the longest posts ever, but you won’t regret it if you, at least, glance through it.

Habakkuk 2:20
But the LORD is in His Holy Temple: let all the earth keep silence before Him.


God's Spirit was in the Temple guarded by Cherubim ..just like The Tree of Life

There were two Cherubim on the Arc of the Covenant and two angels at the scene of Jesus’s empty tomb.

1Sa 4:4
“the ark of the covenant of the LORD of hosts, who dwells between the cherubim.”

Exo 26:31
“You shall make a veil woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen. It shall be woven with an artistic design of cherubim.

• The veil has symbols of cherubim

Revelation 22:2
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.


THE FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT

1 Corinthians 12:4-12 is describing some of the twelve fruits of the Tree of Life:

Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.


Philippians 1:11
Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.


2 Peter 1:8
For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.


Colossians 1:10
That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

Isaiah 40:11
He shall feed his flock like a shepherd: he shall gather the lambs with his arm, and carry them in his bosom, and shall gently lead those that are with young.


We need The Way so God's Spirit can witness our spirit for righteousness.

God's Spirit witnesses we are no longer using carnal/reprobate knowledge to make choices that satan tempted us with. (image of the beast)

We need to be Living by Faith instead of materials, seeking God's Kingdom/Righteousness

God's Spirit witnesses a renewed spirit (alive) as forming to the image of Christ.

"What Would Jesus Do?" perception. You are on a team of Christ’s Body.

You need to be willing to die as a physical man for Christ.

Romans 8:16
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

• "Children of God" is to have the Image of Christ as your perception.

Colossians 3:10
And have put on the new man, which is RENEWED IN KNOWLEDGE AFTER THE IMAGE OF HIM THAT CREATED HIM:


We keep our name in the Book of Life by following Jesus instead of any regular human in history for wisdom/knowledge.

Isaiah 11:2-3
And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

• "quick" is related to "quickening"?

Isaiah 53:11
He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

The tree of knowledge is literally a tree of knowledge ..man's knowledge handed down through the generations.

Ecclesiastes 1
For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.

Isaiah 44:24-25
Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;

That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;


Habakkuk 2:18
What profiteth the graven image that the maker thereof hath graven it; the molten image, and a teacher of lies, that the maker of his work trusteth therein, to make dumb idols?

For if any man see thee which hast knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not the conscience of him which is weak be emboldened to eat those things which are offered to idols;

And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?

But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.

Hosea 4:6
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

Psalm 73:8-12
They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.

They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walketh through the earth.

Therefore his people return hither: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.

And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?

Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.


Psalm 119:66-70
Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.

Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.

Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.

The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.

Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law.


Proverbs 15:14-15

• Opening the door to Christ is inviting Him into the Temple/perception as our Image of Knowledge.

Who's image of knowledge are you using for your perception of reality? Christ's or man's (beast)?

Do you only care about man's achievements, money, and pride? If so, you are failing this test we are in.

It’s what grants Everlasting Life by witnessing our spirits as righteous. We get a new name written in a white stone after Judgement. I think it is a new connection to God’s Spirit ..the Tree of Life.
