I also think that most Christians desire the lifestyle of celebs rather than the person that is portrayed. I could be wrong of course but most celebs are created as an image and are not who they are anyway.

I think it depends on who the celebrity is. I consider Martin Luther King Jr. a celebrity only because he is well-known. Most people think of celebrities as wealthy actors and actresses known on Hollywood, but there are celebrities who are well-known but not wealthy. I don't worship Martin Luther King Jr., but he's a celebrity that I look up to as a positive role model.aspen2 said:

Most celebrities hit the big time then crash on drugs sex and alcohol and then end up in re-hab and the plastic surgeons office trying to look like celebrities again.

Martin Sheen once started a big campaign to save one spotted owls nest in a tree ..... while at the same time he was making a race car movie on the sands of Baja where they scattered corn seed for the seagulls to eat ..... they did that so when the race cars went by the birds would take off and make for good film drama ..... they killed birds on every take.

Well If you have a poster of them on your wall it prolly isn't good. I have a picture of Carmelo Anthony but ive been hesitant to put it on my wall because I feel convicted.
