7 “I form light and create darkness,

I make goodness[a] and create disaster.

I am the Lord, who does all these things.

7 I create both light and darkness;
I bring both blessing and disaster.
I, the Lord, do all these things.

7 I create the light and make the darkness.

I send good times and bad times.

I, the Lord, am the one who does these things.

7 Forming light, and preparing darkness, Making peace, and preparing evil, I [am] Jehovah, doing all these things.'

Looking at this singular verse Matt, I would say that the only conclusion to an honest one would be that Jehovah is the one responsible for both evil and good. That of course would make Him a God unworthy of allegiance. Thank goodness we have the entire Bible to paint a better light of who God really is, like learning all the qualities of God, especially His foremost one, Love.
