7 but made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: - Philippians 2:5-7.
Jesus, emptied himself of the equality he had as "God the Son." To take on his humanity Jesus emptied himself in mind of being equal with God. Now that is far removed from most of 'our how to books' on how to make Christianity work. We can hear about anything ever thought of for man to write about how Christianity works.
But you do not hear much about the mind that is available to believers that has nothing to do with they're humanity. It's quite the opposite - we hear about victory - and faith to move mountains - and if we trust God anything is possible. But that is all outer things..your humanity..worldly things that does not have anything to do with Christianity. Pat answers.. nothing worse than a believer in dire need and get a pat answer. When you need an answer that is what you should get ..not well this is what I believe. Scripture gives you the answer..it is written. Who cares what you believe, everyone has a belief - what is the answer?
