Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so a 1000 yr reign on this earth is false

Rv 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

  • Isaiah 2:2–4 – Nations come to Zion; peace and no more war.
  • Isaiah 35:1–2, 5–10 – Desert blossoms, healing, joy in Zion.
  • Micah 4:1–4 – Peaceful reign; each under their own vine and fig tree.
  • Amos 9:13–14 – Abundant harvest and restoration of the land.
  • Ezekiel 43:1–7 – Glory of the Lord returns to the Temple.
  • Zechariah 8:3–8 – God dwells in Zion; old and young dwell safely.
  • Zechariah 14:16–19 – Nations come to Jerusalem for the Feast of Tabernacles.
  • Isaiah 66:22–23 – All flesh worships before the Lord in Jerusalem.
  • Zechariah 14:9 – The Lord will be King over all the earth.
  • Matthew 19:28 – Disciples will sit on thrones judging Israel.
  • Luke 1:32–33 – Jesus to reign on David’s throne forever.
  • Revelation 20:1–6 – Christ reigns 1,000 years; saints reign with Him
Are you not aware that there is a heavenly Zion? That is the Zion those verses are referring to.

As for the Lord being King over all the earth. Have you never read this...

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

As for Jesus reigning on David's throne, have you never read this...

Acts 2:29 “Men and brethren, let me speak freely to you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us to this day. 30 Therefore, being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him that of the fruit of his body, according to the flesh, He would raise up the Christ to sit on his throne, 31 he, foreseeing this, spoke concerning the resurrection of the Christ, that His soul was not left in Hades, nor did His flesh see corruption. 32 This Jesus God has raised up, of which we are all witnesses. 33 Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear. 34 “For David did not ascend into the heavens, but he says himself: 'The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand,
35 Till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” ’ 36 “Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.”

Peter indicated that David prophesied that God promised him that He would raise up the Christ (Messiah) to sit on his (David's) throne and that David was prophesying "concerning the resurrection of the Christ". So, Christ being RAISED UP from the dead was the fulfillment of the prophecy concerning God's promise to RAISE UP the Christ to sit on David's throne. The prophecy said that God would RAISE UP the Christ to sit on David's throne and Peter said "This Jesus God has RAISED UP", showing that the prophecy was fulfilled by the resurrection of Christ. And, because the prophecy was fulfilled, Peter was able to proclaim that "God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ".

Are you saying the first resurrection is already past? The martyred saints will reign one the first resurrection actually happens.
Of course the first resurrection is already past. Believers have been having part in the first resurrection for a long time already.

The first resurrection:

Acts 26:23 that the Christ would suffer, that He would be the first to rise from the dead, and would proclaim light to the Jewish people and to the Gentiles.”

1 Corinthians 15:20 But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.

Having part in the first resurrection:

Colossians 2:12
buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,

Romans 6:3 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4 Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Sorry but jesus returns to earth, judges the nations, restores the earth and have people live and repopulate the planet for 1000. He brings His kingdom down when He returns.

If you want the many many verses for Gods Word that p[roves this- Just ask and I will gladly post them for you.
Scripture says when Christ returns, yes does those kinds of things, but it is the New earth, not this old earth
The New Jerusalem comes down out of heaven onto the NEW earth.
The only future for this old earth is to be burned on the Day of the Lord Jesus, when He comes back.

God’s Promise Is Not Slack

1 Beloved, I now write to you this second epistle (in both of which I stir up your pure minds by way of reminder), 2 that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of [a]us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, 3 knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” 5 For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, 6 by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. 7 But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and [b]perdition of ungodly men.

8 But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward [c]us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

The Day of the Lord

10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be [d]burned up. 11 Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? 13 Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

Be Steadfast

14 Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless; 15 and consider that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation—as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, 16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.

17 You therefore, beloved, since you know this beforehand, beware lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the error of the wicked; 18 but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.

Jesus continually tells us He is coming as a thief, at a time when you do not expect!

Luke 12

35 “Let your waist be girded and your lamps burning; 36 and you yourselves be like men who wait for their master, when he will return from the wedding, that when he comes and knocks they may open to him immediately. 37 Blessed are those servants whom the master, when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down to eat, and will come and serve them. 38 And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. 39 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would [g]have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. 40 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.”

41 Then Peter said to Him, “Lord, do You speak this parable only to us, or to all people?

42 And the Lord said, “Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food [h]in due season? 43 Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. 44 Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has. 45 But if that servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his coming,’ and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk, 46 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. 47 And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.

Christ Brings Division

49 “I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! 50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I am till it is accomplished! 51 Do you suppose that I came to give peace on earth? I tell you, not at all, but rather division. 52 For from now on five in one house will be divided: three against two, and two against three. 53 Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
v49 may have a meaning some might not associate with Christ's returning?
As in to set fire to this earth.
And He wishes it were already done.
That is the context of the chapter, what He does when He returns and the judgment of the wicked, and the reward of the saints of God.
Some say has to do with the Holy Spirit baptism, which seems to me out of the context of what Christ is teaching here.
You don't understand what He meant when He said His kingdom is not of this world.
Your opinion.
Disagree.
He was saying that His kingdom is not worldly.
Disagree.
He was saying what He said.
His Kingdom is Not OF this World.
Regardless OF Why…
(Which … True EVIL is Present in this World)
Point is Then and Presently His Kingdom IS Not OF “THIS” World.
His Kingdom is of Another World…
TOTALY Perfect, nothing ever having been Defiled… Gods Estate, Habitat…
Where…no “created beings Have Been”.
A World… is a place / Estate that has Occupants/ inhabitants for which that World was created.
Gods Estate… IS Above the Heaven(S).
“The” High (3 rd) Heaven is Gods Throne.
The Mid (2 nd) Heaven is Holy angels Estate
The lower (1 st) Heaven is clouds. We see, can enter into, via plane, mountain climbing, and a height that fallen angels can also go, but no higher…as they were cast out of their first east are ( 2 nd heaven)
Then the Earth….surface, living Man’s Estate.
Then In the Earth, caves, holes, place for Dead Bodys of men.
Then Deep In the Earth, Hell. A place for departed unsaved living souls to wait for judgement.
Then a pit, for fallen eternally living spirits, to end up eternally. Without power to escape.
Every place where “created beings” inhabit… is A World.
As Scripture is Written for the benefit of created Creatures call “mankind”… (not angels not animals)…the most references of the 300+ times “world” is mentioned IN Scripture…
Is talking about man’s habitat… Earth… the world, this world…
God, holy angels, fallen angels, dead Body’s of men, unsaved departed living souls, demonic angels…all have their own worlds “habitats” they occupy.
Jesus” Kingdom is Not of or in THIS World, Yet…BECAUSE…God has Not YET PREPARED His Sons’ Kingdom For His Son to be Seated on His “Throne”…
Christ the Lord Jesus HAS been for 2,000 + years Preparing His “Servants / holy angels”and “Saints / Saved and born again men”…
To be inhabitants of His Kingdom ON This Earth.
Then will His Kingdom be IN this World…
And after 1,000 years…
Then will The Lord Gods Kingdom be OF this World.
Jesus saying that His kingdom is not of this world should be understood in the same sense as Him saying that His followers are not of the world even though we are in the world.
Should be understood as it Applies to Him…
Remember all the Worlds… belong to God…
Man is the Occupant… the world is not his, it’s his habitat.
I used scripture to back up what I was saying by showing what it means to be "of the world" and "not of the world" while being "in the world" and you just ignore all of that because you just believe what you want to believe instead of what scripture teaches.
Scott…
Look again…
Rev19:
Rev 20:
Rev21:
Jesus Returns Before the new Earth.
On earth is “unsaved”… believing mortals…a remnant…they live, Marry, reproduce, establish nations, etc. like now, except they All believe…Satan nor any fallen angels are on earth…
Jesus’ Kingdom is Abraham’s promised land, including Jerusalem, where king David’s everlasting throne is, and where Jesus will rule the world from, with his holy servants and saints.
For 1,000 years, generations of men will live and die, believing, building, trading, prospering, kings of nations pilgrimaging to Jerusalem, hearing Ihe Lords instruction how kings should rule… there is peace among the nations…everyone prospers…
Nearing the latter years getting close to the 1,000 year mark…then, like now, generations, who have everything, without building, without struggles…( know everything / ha!) and kings, will fall away from the “pilgrimage”, no need for the Lord Jesus King…and 1,000 year mark Satan and his demons are unbound to roam the earth… again influence men Against The KING Lord Jesus…tickling their ears…convincing them to fight against Jesus’ Kingdom…
Then will be fulfilled ALL nations shall come Against ISRAEL.
Instantly they are Destroyed by Fire.
(holy Angels and fallen angels shall battle in the air.)
Fallen angels shall be defeated and cast into the LOF where they shall remain alive forever.
Thereafter… is the new heaven and new earth… with only believing inhabitants.
Glory to God,
Dispute, your claim I do not understand.
I study specific topics…specific..for the whole truth of, who, what, when, why, where, how…
No dispute about WHY…
I disagree with WHAT…
This world. The World. “worlds” are a place established for specific inhabitants.
Heaven was not a world created for a terrestrials habitat.
Earth was not a world created for a celestials habitat.
One day…heaven and earth shall have no DIVISION (as now) … the inhabitants shall all be perfect and holy, without taint, sin.
Right. We are in His kingdom now and He reigns now....
Right?
You didn't read his OP carefully.
"No Jesus will not be reigning as a king on this earth, not then, not now or in the future."
Revelation 20:6
Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.
Fascinating discussions here.
Christian Identity racists are openly Antisemitic, and others,or the same ones, open discussions to state the Bible is false,doesn't say what is written, is not meant to be understood as written, and/or the one that inspired its creation lied.
Obviously God was antisemitic.
It takes guts to admit to being CI.
I imagine those will fade when standing before the throne.
Yes, we read you slander God the first time.
My prior post never stated those things about God,who was Jesus.
I observed there are Christian Identity persons here who are open antisemitic.
Now, you're going off ,and using scripture to do so. Though it is obvious you never read the whole of the Numbers chapter you earlier referenced.
Your behavior must be in keeping with the rules here.
As I said,it takes guts to admit being CI.
God slew 24,000 semitic Israelites. If He wasn't antisemitic, then why wasn't He antisemitic?
Nothing to do with semitism or CI.
