Why the gap though, 18 years missing.FHII said:The Bible says Jesus grew and learned. It also says at age 12 he was already debating and discussing theology with scholars. He was a carpenter's step son (for lack of a better term) and is even noted as being a carpenter himself.
Its hard to believe his years at this time were typical. Even at age 12 he knew he was the son of God.
Best I can speculate is that he was a child genius (he did take on college professors) who was biding his time, learning what being Human was like and simply blending in with the crowd as best he could.
Might have even had a girlfriend or two as boys/young men tend to have.
Its all speculation, and thats ok. As long as you don't form doctrine on such speculation.
The Gospels are not biographies.ATP said:Why the gap though, 18 years missing.
