I'm sorry but you totally misunderstood my post. I never said nor implied that you are going to Hell. And I do not believe you are going to Hell. God bless you!So why is it that some claimed born again Christians say that if you don't do this or that, or you do this and that, that you're going to Hell? That's not what scripture teaches!!!It's really mean and hurtful. Especially somebody like me who really loves Jesus.

I did not! That's a lie!
If I berated you then quote me. I don't think you can. You've been hurt but I didn't do it! I'm done.If you wish to discuss this matter please PM me instead and I can show you exactly where you said that. I did not tag you in this thread or even mention whether or not it was about you so I have done nothing wrong by just discussing it as a topic in general. You chose to come here on your own and berate me.

And we as children are vastly unqualified to discuss judgment
My approach is to share the gospel, judgment is spelled out by God in the bible. I also let church leaders be the judges of the congregation, and I'll judge what to be around for myself and my family. I remove myself from some people and situations and try not to judge. Let me take a look.I don't know about this, Devin. I'm not the judgmental type - I believe in loving all people no matter who or what they are - but I do believe Christians not only can but should be able to discuss the judgments of God.
I mentioned it in this post here just this morning. Tell me what you think, but I think such things have to be discussed because souls are at stake, and we should not just hide our heads in the sand and let people go to Hell, IMO.
is doing sexual things with a boyfriend/girlfriend sin...

I personally see a lot of people in church and outside of church that aren't being judged by God that I think should be. So clearly God judges differently than I do. Which teaches me not to judge. And his lack of judgements don't follow scriptural adherence here on earth. Perhaps when they die and are sentenced then? Again it's God's place to judge.Well this is a good approach right here, and when one is trying to witness, I don't feel it is the time to be trying to condemn them for their sins. But if they are IN the church and trying to grow in Christ, this is when they need to be informed that God does indeed pass judgment on sin if they remain in it without repentance.
See this passage also in the other thread that I just quoted (the first one):

I feel him close now.Yes, judgment must remain in the hands of God, and for good reason. We would have all condemned each other long ago, if not for one thing then for another.
Yes. My personal view is that the Lord is not as close to the modern church as He was to the New Testament church, and so the scripture "To whom much is given, much is expected" comes into play. But I think a time is coming when the Lord will draw nearer again, and then we will again come under stricter judgment for our conduct, including in relation to how we treat one another as brothers and sisters in Christ.

But sure, we're on a forum with impressionable Christians so share your beliefs on the subject. We all have a right to weigh in on the subject.
