We desperately need revival.

I have been badly hoping for a Revival. If anyone wants to start one I'd try to help.

I am really hurting for my brother in Christ's sake. They really slammed him (Luke P., yet again) on the show tonight.
He took it like a real man of the Lord; but I know that he is hurting because they really attempted to destroy his honour in this last episode.
I pray for him that he will come out of this as the head and not the tail, in Jesus' Name.
Revival has to do with the purifying of His bride; and will only come by prayer.
We had an event in San Pedro recently at my church; we called it THE REVIVAL. And while about 7 people got saved, not much else happened after that.

Why don't those of us who care, begin to pray for revival to happen right here on these boards?
Perhaps there would be no manifestations in such a revival, like people crying out to God on the floor of the church; but God is able to produce revival nevertheless; which would be manifested in hearts turning to the Lord in holiness; in God's people turning from their wicked ways unto Him...
2Ch 7:14, If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
This verse has been quoted in times past without much effect on the atmosphere of church or on the levels of holiness in the body of Christ...but what would happen if people actually heeded this verse?
There would be a change in the spiritual atmosphere of our culture.
From my understanding Hannah B. was a brand-new believer at the end of the last show and as the new show was starting; and Luke decided to go on there to try to rescue her from the other guys to keep her from being unequally yoked.
I believe that he also went on there to be a witness for Christ (although at this he failed, for that the producers did their best to put him in a bad light).
re #63.
Amen...Everything big starts small. Maybe it could start with us.
I really feel that Luke P. may have done a better job than some may think at representing Christ to the world.I had suspected something like that. I admire his pluck but it sounds like the producers are doing more harm to christianity by Luke being on the show. I'm sure he didn't foresee that, but what young person will be drawn to Christ after seeing christianity shown in such a bad light?
I believe these are things that have to happen in order for the second coming to happen, I feel this.
