First thanks for the reply, second, Jesus "SAVE" us by FAITH.Confusing. Jesus saves from unbelief.
How can one believe if they have never heard the truth? now what is "belief?" a state or habit of mind in which trust or confidence is placed in some person or thing . OR
belief as a noun, 1. an acceptance that a statement is true or that something exists. 2. trust, faith, or confidence in someone or something.
do sinners believe that there is a God? yes, only the atheist do not.
there are a lot of sinners out there who believe in God, but not yet ready to accept their surrender/salvation.... can I get a amen? don't worry a divorce of the sinner and the world is comming. either you will get tried of the world, or the world will get tried of ... U. that's why he, God ... "CALLS US OUT OF THE WORLD, to serve HIM. and the apostle says it best, Romans 10:12 "For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him."
Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Romans 10:14 "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?"
see you're called into belief, but save by FAITH in this Grace. the works of God is to believe, and one must answer that call, before they can Work.
so Jesus "SAVE", by hope, which is FAITH, listen, Romans 8:24 "For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?" that's why we are called into believe.... belief set the goal, and faith goes an\d get it... that's the two sided coin of Faith and belief. they are not the same, just as sin and iniquity is not the same.
