Most of us have lost loved ones in death. Like Job, many of us wonder if the dead can actually live again. Since our beginning, we have observed the truth of this statement also said by Job: (Job 14:1) . . .“Man, born of woman, Is short-lived and filled with trouble. . . so is this life all there is, or is the hope laid out for us in the Bible a sure hope?

The Bible calls death and enemy, and we know it causes much grief and sadness, even bringing Jesus to tears. God promises however, that He will defeat that enemy, and it will be cast into the lake of fire, gone forever Rev 20:14. God also promises a resurrection, can we trust Him to fulfill His promises?

Joshua once said on his deathbed: (Joshua 23:14) . . .“Now look! I am about to die, and you well know with all your heart and with all your soul that not one word out of all the good promises that Jehovah your God has spoken to you has failed. They have all come true for you. Not one word of them has failed. Have you personally observed many more of God's promises fulfilled since that time?

There comes a point in one's life that trust gets earned, when one has a remarkable record of accuracy from things promised and fulfilled, one believes what is yet to be will be just as sure as those things that has already happened. God's word promises: Acts 24:15 There is going to be a resurrection. Do you believe God's words that one day there will be billions brought back to life? Rev 20:13 I do.
