Don’t trust leaders; don’t trust any human beings— there’s no saving help with them! - Psa 146:3
We should not place our trust in leaders, but rather in the Lord. This does not mean we should ignore or fail to recognize leaders. Throughout history, the Lord has interacted with His people, both in typical and atypical ways, demonstrating that He is willing to use human agents as His representatives to teach and guide His people from one level of grace and knowledge to another. The key takeaway is that the Lord is fully capable of managing His work. While we may seek His guidance through human agents, our trust should not lie in them, their wisdom, or their strength, but in the Lord's wisdom and strength, which directs both them and us.
