God bless you seeing simple and clear teachings. It is childlike faith, brother.

No, it's not an excuse.

Not really. I as a OSAS believer simply allow you to assume whatever you want, while I continue to preach the truth.
It is not assumption. It is clear statements of Christ.

You are following man-made twisted version of salvation.

Jesus Christ has stated, once we believe we have eternal life. I believe Jesus and not religion. Amen. :)

John 3:14-15 NIV Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, 15 that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.

John 3:16 NIV For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

John 5:24 NIV “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.

John 6:40 NIV For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”

John 6:47 NIV I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life.

Acts 13:46-48 NIV Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: "We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles. 47 For this is what the Lord has commanded us: " 'I have made you a light for the Gentiles, that you may bring salvation to the ends of the earth.' " 48 When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.

Eph 1:13-14 NIV And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

1 John 5:13-14 NIV I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14This is the confidence we have in approaching God:

God's grace is not a license to sin, and if you treat it that way, you show you don't fear God.
I would truly love to see you never sin... Is your name Jesus, are you perfect.

and yet the only ones who declare it an excuse are those who need an excuse to slap Jesus in the faith and deny all His good works by keeping teh law which is not even theirs, and denying the power of God unto salvation so that they can boast of their works which are as "fithy rags", thinking that some how thay can outdo teh one taht is perfect," Jesus Christ".

But than what has yout faith cost you.. a trip to church...

How many times do you have to repeat the same comment?

You already got the answers from us.

Just because we are sinful does not make us right to change the Lord's commands. Why do you insist on spreading twisted version of salvation?

Jesus says "if you love Me, keep My commands". Why cant you just say, "yes, Lord", instead of twisting His word?

Dont you,

Joh 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Joh 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

I said yes to Him a long time ago...

So where is your love ????

1Co 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

Don't you see..."such WERE some of you." Not "such ARE some of you."
These people did not continue in their sin, they were washed clean of it, presumably in the waters of baptism.

And notice, this was "some" of them. Those that continued to sin still will not see Heaven.

My convenient faith as you put it,

cost me my marriage loss of my kids, two of which i have not seeing except by skype in 12 years, being showing by Jesus Himself that I was not guilty, being takinen to heaven to judge them both and finding neither of them ( x and boyfriend)guilty, weeks of suicide conemplation until I realised it was the most selfish thing anyoe could do, months of tears, break downs, stress having to overcome bitterness and resentment, than amidst all my troubles, having Christ walk into my life larger than life, and being blessed with the most precious Grand daugher because I was "willing" to loose all for His sake.,

Dont seem so conveneint after all does it..

In All His Love
So, was all of this before or after you "came out" as a gay man?

I have another friend who is "transgendered". This one believes with all of his feminine little heart that he is "married to God". No, I don't mean like a nun...I mean that his female self is literally God's wife, in the same way as I was married to my husband, complete with a sexual relationship.
This person believes that God allowed him to be born in a man's body so that other heterosexual men would not desire him...God, you know, is a jealous God.
Don't get me wrong, this person is really a heck of a sweet...person. But he is delusional.
And so are you if you think that Jesus took you to heaven to judge anyone.

Don't get me wrong, I hate that this happened to you...but if I were to wake one morning and find that the man I was married to and the father of my children was gay, I'd divorce him quicker than he could slide into my panties...and I'd try to keep him away from my kids as well. My sympathies are with your wife...

EDIT:
I suppose that is one benefit of celibacy...I will never have to face that sticky problem.
Thank God...

I haven't heard Joyful, or Phoneman boast of their works at all.
And I have named my sin for you, at least twice now in these threads.
No one here has said that they could outdo Jesus Christ.
No one here has denied His good works.
None of us has claimed to be perfect.

You make these false accusations against these people who are doing nothing but trying to help you...
And then you dare to sign yourself "In all His Love".

Shame on you, Mjrhealth.

No kiddo. The sexual immoral, idolaters, adulterers, homosexuals, thieves, the greedy, drunkards, slanderers, and swindlers describe nonbelievers. Believers are only justified once here in Rom 10:10 NIV. Those who are not written in the book of life will be thrown into the lake of fire, because they DENY Jesus Christ as Savior and did not BELIEVE Jude 1:4-5 NIV. They have the spirit of the antichrist 1 John 2:22 NIV. Notice the words..

1. sexually immoral, immorality 1 Cor 6:9 NIV, 1 Tim 1:8-11 NIV, Jude 1:4 NIV, Jude 1:7 NIV, Rev 21:8 NIV, Rev 22:15 NIV
2. the name of Jesus Christ 1 Cor 6:11, 1 John 2:22 NIV, Jude 1:4 NIV
3. denies, denying, deny, 1 John 2:22 NIV, Jude 1:4 NIV
4. antichrist 1 John 2:22 NIV
5. condemnation Jude 1:4 NIV
6. did not believe, unbelieving Jude 1:5 NIV, Rev 21:8 NIV
7. punishment of eternal fire, the lake of fire, fiery lake of burning sulfur Jude 1:7 NIV, Rev 21:8 NIV

I want us to focus on these specific words. All these words describe nonbelievers that are not born again by any means. Are we connecting the dots here in 1-7...

1 Cor 6:9-11 NIV Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. 11And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.

1 Tim 1:8-11 NIV We know that the law is good if one uses it properly. 9We also know that the law is made not for the righteous but for lawbreakers and rebels, the ungodly and sinful, the unholy and irreligious, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, 10for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine 11that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.

1 John 2:22 NIV Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist--denying the Father and the Son.

Jude 1:4-5 NIV For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord. 5Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe.

Jude 1:7 NIV In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

Rev 21:8 NIV But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

Rev 22:14-15 NIV “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

Folks, I'm not looking to become a participant in this thread. I have my reasons. I'm just watching how it develops and turns out. I have one question which I'm asking for clarification. I'm certain if I went back through all six pages, I'd find it. Perhaps someone can save me the trouble.

My question is what exactly are the commandments we are supposed to keep that Jesus spoke of when he said, "if you love me, keep my comnandments".

Thanks

Gal 5:6 NIV For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.

Gal 5:4 NIV You who are trying to be justified by the law have been alienated from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.

I've given you every chance to deny that you are gay, and you have brushed me off.
So, I'm going to quit beating around the bush...are you a homosexual, as you stated in an earlier thread? Or are you straight?
