Did you know brethren that "Kingdom Now" is actually a seminary doctrine among the Charismatics? I'd always called it that before I knew that's what they call it themselves.
They believe that certain ones among Christ's believers are "covenant people", and already "overcomers", and that God through them, and through 'their' social institutions, governments and laws, that this present world is to be brought under God's authority. They believe that through Jesus and The Holy Spirit they believe they have all authority in heaven and on earth, and that we can bring the Kingdom Age. In other words, they believe it's up to them to establish Christ's Kingdom here on earth.
Some of the "Kingdom Now" folks also don't believe in a 'rapture'. They believe those in Christ will simply be emotionally exalted when Jesus returns to receive the Kingdom from our hands. One of their most radical ideas is that all evil influence on earth must be eradicated by the Church, and that Jesus cannot return until the Church has put all enemies under its feet.
What do you 'see'... by those above doctrines brethren? What movement going on today would best serve that kind of above working for this present world?
Can you say, "one world government"? What's that?
The goal of a "one world government" has been described as one of the goals of the United Nations strategy (see Agenda 21, and the document "Freedom from War: The United States Program for General and Complete Disarmament in a Peaceful World".)
Also see ex-FBI agent Cleon Skousen's 1958 book The Naked Communist. In it he listed as one of the Soviet Communist's long-range strategies as a "one world government", and that if the U.N. were involved, that should be its goal.
If you've studied Christ's Book of Revelation, then you well know about the final beast kingdom that is to be setup over all nations and peoples upon this earth for the end (Revelation 13). We're even shown it will make war with the saints for 42 months. Does that sound like the "Kingdom Now" folks will be in control? Obviously not.
Is there evidence of this movement among our U.S. leaders? Yes, for it doesn't take much to look back at our government officials purposefully eroding our national sovereignty and handing it to the U.N. And many of those officials are baptized Christians! So what about that?
Could there be a faction 'within' the "Kingdom Now" folks all along with the purpose of deceiving Christian brethren into their secret goal of a "one world government", which is to be ruled by Lucifer at the end, a beast kingdom of ten horns, seven heads, and ten crowns?
Yes, I strongly believe that is what the "Kingdom Now" movement is secretly about, and many of their adherents don't have a clue about that secret goal. Their movement is just too good to be true to NOT be about helping to setup a "one world government." I mean, all those in Christ desire true peace under Jesus our King. So why not be working towards world peace to help bring Christ's coming faster?
Well, here's one reason why not...
Dan 8:23-25
23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
KJV
That is about the end of this present world when the coming false-Messiah arrives first, prior to our Lord Jesus' return. Jesus and His Apostles Paul, and John all warned us about that false one coming first at the end, and Jesus told us when 'they' say things like, "Behold, Christ is here, or there", Jesus said believe it not.
In 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3 Apostle Paul marked those deceived with the "sudden destruction" on the last day coming upon them, while they are saying, "Peace and safety". It means they will be thinking Christ has actually come, when in reality it will be a false-Messiah they will fall away to. False Messiah's goal is world peace per the above Daniel 8 Scripture, and that will be one of his main weapons to deceive the whole world, for 42 months (Revelation 13:4-8). Those who stand in Christ Jesus waiting on His return, will not be deceived by that false one.
This is why we always need to be very careful in checking out what a Church believes and teaches if we go looking for a Church to attend. Don't allow fellowship and association to fool you, and sure, there's good Christians in every Church that keeps The Gospel of Jesus Christ. Just remember though, only 2 Churches in Revelation did Jesus not have any problem with. The other 5 Churches had problems in them, though not all members were guilty. His 7 Messages in Revelation 2 & 3 thus are still... in effect for ALL Christian Churches today, and they are to be used as the Measure.
