There is a world that exists that has nothing to do with this world in the overall plan of God. The world we live in is created to bring about the plan of God, and has nothing to do with the plan of God - accept bring about His plan. We feel it is His plan to make sure I eat and have shelter and have something to wear, take care of all this created stuff, and all the cares of the world - for lack of a better word. Staying caught in that is bondage!
We see God as hovering over this world looking for things to do and intervening in situations - that come around. That is the mind-set that is set in the world. How does the world operate - by a knowledge that knows nothing about the creation and operation of God. Man is born in that knowledge, and stays in that knowledge until it is changed. When change begins do not stop, keep moving. It is fixed in man to not know anything in the creation of God!
11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end. - Ecclesiastes 3:11.
