It is just sharing, if you believe that is between you and God or not. It has been nice to talk about the Lord with you and simply share. Because he died for you, and was raised again for you. To have newness of life which you can have a Father in heaven to pray to, and ask him to help you in your life by the spirit.
These are things expressed and said by Jesus, but it is up to a person to put in the work of studying the Bible which is hard enough with a flesh that is hard to have self-control to sit in a quiet room and read the scripture outloud to one self, or out in nature if you do that and read the scripture to one self out loud and listen to everything as you suggested before. The language, how things are said. I think those things are highly important too, and its important to really explore all the routes in the Gospel, with putting things together, along with also learning the history of Acts at least once in life, (I still haven't read all of Acts myself), but I can say I have read all the rest of the Bible - like Colossians, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, 1 Thessalonians, 2nd Thess, 1 John, 2 John, 3 John, Peter, just about every other letter written I have taken time to go through and read and question. I found out alot of it relates the 1 century Christians, and the taking away of the Old Law Of Moses, which promised blessing and curses upon the nation of Israel for either obeying or disobeying caused blessing and curses. They would sacrifice sins once a year in which they would do by sending someone in the holies of holies and when they came out they knew the sacrifice was taken, be it lamb or whatever they had 1 more year before doing sacrifices again.
There is so much, to learn and it takes time, patience, and a lot of prayer but it is really interesting the things you can learn about the Bible just by going through it by itself. Study bibles do help especially if you wanna get good on a particular subject, like Thompson Chain Bible, which also includes some archeology studies added, and you can get an more in-depth idea of how many people lived where, like Nazareth was said to have about a population of 500 people, so when Jesus Christ came on the scene, everyone knew he was.
