This thread isn’t about Calvinism. You’re the only one bringing that up.Everybody knows calvinism is heresy if they know John 3:16
Calvinism rejects John 3:16 and claims it's a lie.
How would you know? Have you heard ALL his teachings?
Rather than wade through a bunch of videos I'll just ask up front if he teaches calvinism or reformed theology
It's to the point now where the vast majority of preachers and churches are in fact teaching false doctrine so I have no need to listening to their shuck n jive as they say a few good things and then later get in to the heresy that they espouse
That's why I think I'll stick with God's Word and THE Teacher the Lord sent - The Holy Spirit.
We’re talking about what was actually said, not trying to label someone without evidence.
And John 3:16 doesn’t prove what you’re claiming. It says, “For God so loved the world… that whosoever believeth in him should not perish” ~John 3:16. The point is belief in Christ, not using the verse to attack a label.
You asked how I would know. Same question back. How do you know he teaches it? There’s no evidence given. It’s just being assumed.
Scripture doesn’t tell us to dismiss someone before hearing them. It says, “He that answereth a matter before he heareth it, it is folly and shame unto him” ~Proverbs 18:13.
And I agree with you on this part. We should stick with God’s Word and rely on the Holy Spirit. That’s exactly why we should deal with what’s actually taught and test it by Scripture, not by labels or assumptions.
“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good” ~1 Thessalonians 5:21.
So let’s stay there. Deal with the teaching itself, not what you think might be behind it.
