....And yes, I am well aware of Rev 13's reference to the mark as being "caused by Satan," and that the purpose behind Satan's plan is that eventually there would be no one left on earth who was NOT buying and selling in Satan's market. I would just like your viewpoint as to why the mark of Satan is automatically assumed to be a physical mark, but God's mark is spiritual?Thank you.
So why did God put a mark on Cain? The answer to that question might give us an idea what the mark was. I realize you were not saying that and I pretty much agree with what you say I put emphasis on the spiritual because its the part most people dont get they think a government forces the mark upon you ... And just as Cain decided to follow Satans evil ways himself .. in his heart/mind and do the devils work (hand) So will those taking the Mark/ Seal of the beast decide to follow him(antichrist) in their hearts/mind willingly thinking he is christ .. the outter mark is just symbolic of their spiritual choice

The reformers were given a different mission to spread the gospel of the good news around the World. The details of Satan, Antichrist marks/seals, trumps ect were not of the greatest importance to the Generations before us as these things would not come to pass in their lifetimes, so a general understanding was sufficient. We however are that Generation of the last days to us understanding these things is of great importance, even the apostles wanted to live in these times of Lords soon return. Unfortunately many today refuse to understand the book is now opened by God the seals are broken the book was opened to us. Rather than hear what the now opened book says they will believe what the reformers said about a closed book they could not understand.There was not even a reformed nation of Israel when their interpretations were made, many of the events of the End times, all take place around Jerusalem. How could they properly understand details of what did not even exist in their time? Yet men insist they were right about revelation and its closed book.

666 is not even a devils number. It means 6th Vial, 6th Seal and 6th Trumpet. Christ's number is 888, however, Christ is coming back at the seventh and final Trumpet (II Corinthians 15:52, I Thessalonians 4:16-17, Revelation 11:15)

If the heart (spiritual seat of man) is provided for with the left hand, and the belly (fleshly desires seat of man) are provided by the right hand, then that man will become fleshly instead of spiritual. To be born again in Spirit requires that the Spirit man reigns over the flesh. It is the flesh which gets in the way of the Spirit when we give offerings for prideful reasons, as Jesus referred to in Matt 6:3. In essence, if we are constantly reaching out to the things of this world and seldom reach out to things above, then we have our heart in our left hand and our right hand is taking everything for the flesh instead of for the spiritual things of God. It is the dominance of the right hand, in that it is the hand that is being used the most, that should be used to provide heavenly things for our spirit man.

I agree with you and Tom ..But I think the right hand means several things, what we have already discussed, but it also signifies who gets the inheratance. Gen 48: 17-18.. So if you have taken the mark in the right hand you have taken the inheratance from the wrong christ................... Secondly, we know that the firstfruits rule with Christ a thousand yrs in his temple where the ark of his testimony is seen in the old Jerusalem. Thirdly, we know it's the old Jerusalem because it's at the second ressurection that the New Jerusalem and New Earth are established without a temple. There's no mention of a "camp" until after the 1,000 yrs. All the saved are in Jerusalem. Where's the camp of the saints?
