Have you ever visited Solvang, CA? Super cute town as well, but lacks that winter snow at Christmas.

Every Christmas, we head up the mountain to our cabin at Big Bear Lake. It's incredible to us that in just two hours from San Diego, we can enjoy a winter wonderland. Here's a pic of main street at night--
Yes Levenworth. When I lived in San Diego I used to drive up to this mountain town and buy berry crumb pies. They were super tasty.
