I remember the phrase misery loves company. If someone is miserable then I suppose that is true. If I'm miserable then I might desire company to spread the not so cheerful day.
But I think hopefully that misery finds company. And that, as a good friend does, always remembers to cheer them up after hearing their triumphs and problems. And during. Sometimes the person sad does not want to talk about it. And then they just want to leave it behind and be cheered up in a decent environment with happy people. That too is important.
