What do you think Jesus preached for over 3 years?
Salvation by grace though faith in the Person and finished work of Christ.

Sanctification comes AFTER justification, but sinners are justified by God's grace, and the perfect righteousness of Christ is imputed to them at the same time.

It's sure a jungle out there, isn't it?
That's absolutely right. What amazes me is that even though Scripture is plain and clear, there is so much spiritual confusion today. Which tells us that we are in the midst of the Great Apostasy, and the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

When did anyone know Scripture plain and clear, beyond say, Spurgeon or someone like that?

Preaching the gospel is good to do.
But that's not what gets you into heaven.
Following the gospel is what gets you into heaven.
How can anyone get to heaven if 1. they never hear the Gospel, .2 They are told any religion will get you to heaven, and 3. all they see is good works.
Has our way to get to heaven changed?
Heaven's to Betsy!
We got New Age Gospel right here on the forum!

First of all, the persons she was helping were dying.
They were abandoned persons living on the streets of Calcutta. A VERY POOR city.
She did what she could. Hospitals would not take them in ... that's the whole reason she helped them when no one else would.

Read some books about her instead of reading about her on the internet.
She did more than we'll ever do ...
You don't know that to be true.
Let's find out how many people she brought to Christ with the truth of His Word, and compare that to any street preacher in the world.

she was such a dang good catholic, we don't even consider her spiritual life.

So, it would have been better to just leave the sick on the street?
And you trust CHRISTOPHER HITCHENS?????

Do you not understand that those dying and very sick people had no other recourse? Could we dislike a person because they helped people? Or because they perhaps didn't do everything as perfectly as YOU would have?

I don't need to investigate. I've read books about her...one which she wrote herself; it was like a biography but done in letters written by her to different persons in her life. "Come Be My Light".

If you want to find out what her life was like and what she did everyday, read this book and stop listening to CHRISTOPHER HITCHENS for goodness sake!

This is how God works. He works through people.
She had a lifetime to promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone she met.
But she didn't.
I wonder if she ever understood the Gospel herself.

Are you suggesting salvation by good works? If so, that is false teaching.

EPHESIANS 2
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
Soooo - you DON'T have to follow the Gospel?
You DON'T have to be obedient?
You DON'T have to accept God's gift?

I that what you're saying??

What are YOU smoking??

She preached and understood the Gospel better than YOU - and better than MOST.
She LIVED the Gospel message.

You would be wise to heed her faithful and godly advice - my ignorant, clueless friend . . .

"Each one of them is Jesus in disguise."
Mother Teresa

"I am a little pencil in the hand of a writing God who is sending a love letter to the world."

Mother Teresa

"I do not pray for success, I ask for faithfulness."

Mother Teresa

"I know God will not give me anything I can't handle. I just wish that He didn't trust me so much."

Mother Teresa

"I try to give to the poor people for love what the rich could get for money. No, I wouldn't touch a leper for a thousand pounds; yet I willingly cure him for the love of God."

Mother Teresa

"I want you to be concerned about your next door neighbor. Do you know your next door neighbor?"

I believe Mother Teresa is in Heaven.

Not just because she live a life of deep, obedient faith - but also because the Church has proclaimed her a saint. Jesus gave His Church SUPREME Authority on earth - that WHATEVER it ordained on earth would ALSO be ordained in Heaven (Matt 16:18-19, Matt. 18:15-18, Luke 10:16, John 16:12-15, John 20:21-23).

So - either she is in Heaven or Jesus is a liar.

PS - I couldn't care less about what I am "rated" on this forum.
I'm only here to squash lies and set the record straight about what the Church teaches.
Your popularity ebbs daily.

And, as I told you earlier - I couldn't care less.

I'm not here for "ratings".
I'm only here to squash lies - like the ones YOU'VE told about Mother Teresa.

Yes - perhaps you can give us ALL a "lessen" . . .

If you read the quotes I posted from Mother Teresa and DIDN'T see the Gospel in them - then you're even MORE clueless than I gave you credit for . . .

then please, give us a lessen in any of your quotes as to where the Gospel is.
I don't think you know the Gospel.
The catholic church never taught it, did they?
