Ive struggled in the past bad with depression. So I know what that is like. Just draw closer to Jesus and your family during this time and rest in Him...and there are many opinions, but a doctor/counselor helped me too. God bless.

I've heard that as well but also that a human will die if they went without food for 2 weeks. I didn't believe them either so I stopped eating food and only drank half a glass of water a day for 17 days. Came back to the guy in question and said....that it was not true. :

Jesus fasted 40 days...he would have looked a wreck...and after that he was tempted to turn the stones to bread. Imagine that torture!
