I collaborated with Michael Odom, of Charlotte, NC.
He originally sent me an instrumental accompaniment he was working on.
Wondered if I would be interested in writing some lyrics.

Listened to the instrumental track and got a western vibe from it.
When inspiration struck, I began to write on a psychological western theme.
A narrative about an old west person being confronted by their past.
Which comes as an ominous vision, initiated by a passing tumbleweed.

So, on the track, I do a guitar solo in the Bridge section.
Michael plays all other instruments and does all the vocals.
In addition to the guitar solo, I wrote the original lyrics/theme, and
helped with arranging the song. Lyrics pasted below.

I just came across the obituary for Carl Davis. (He died from a brain hemorrhage a couple of weeks ago.) It brought to mind his magnificent work in The World At War.
