I thought maybe more of a explanation was necessary;
I’m not belittling what Christ did for us. For He is our Savior, for without Him, all was lost.
But God’s love sent Jesus to destroy the works of the devil, (all of them for creation itself will be redeemed) , and it was our births out from Adam that which is that life which separated us from God. So that life needed to be dealt with. Which life was encluded when Christ died on the cross. Which is how Christ reconciled us to God. He came to take us to death with Him on the cross so we might be born again and have a new nature that scripture calls the “Divine Nature” for that nature sins not. Growing in Christ is that nature growing in us to the degree that it rules all things.

Blessings as we press into Christ that our births out of Christ would grow and mature and be pleasing to God in all things.
