Daniel 11;1-4
Also I in the first year of Darius the Mede, even I ,stood to confirm and to strengthen him.
And now will I show thee the truth.Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia;and the fourth shall be far richer than they all;and by his streignth through his riches he shall stir up all against the realm of Grecia.
And a mighty king shall stand up that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.
And when he shall stand up,his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be devided toward the four winds of heaven;and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled;for his kingdom shall be plucked up,even for others beside those.
Daniel 11;5-6
And the king of the south shall be strong, and one of his princes;and he shall be strong above him,and have dominion;his dominion shall be a great dominion.
And in the end of years they shall join themselves together;for the kings daughter of the south shall come to the king of the north to make an agreement;but she shall not retain the power of the arm;neither shall he stand, nor his arm;but she shall be given up,and they that brought her,and he that begat her,and he that streignthend her in these times.
Perhaps Palestine ?
In early 1947 the British announced their intention to abandon the Mandate, and turn the question of the future of Palestine over to the UN. The General Assembly decided to set up the United Nations Special Committee on Palestine (UNSCOP) to investigate the cause of the conflict in Palestine, and, if possible, devise a solution.
UNSCOP, composed of representatives of 11 nations, visited Palestine and heard testimony from Zionists in Palestine and in the US. The Arabs in Palestine greeted the UNSCOP with hostility and refused to cooperate. The Arab Higher Committee boycotted the Commission but demanded that the UN immediately grant Palestine its independence.
All eleven members of UNSCOP agreed on termination of the mandate, a foregone conclusion given the position of Great Britain. Seven members endorsed a partition plan favored by the Zionists, while three members endorsed a federal state similar to the Grady Morrison plan that had been rejected by both Jews and Arabs. No members endorsed the unitary Arab state recommended by the Arab Higher Committee.
In a speech delivered on 25 March 1948, US President Truman recommended a temporary trusteeship and stated: We could not undertake to impose this solution on the people of Palestine by the use of American troops, both on Charter grounds and as a matter of national policy.[136]
First phase: 14 May 1948–11 June 1948
The British Mandate over Palestine was due to expire on 15 May, but Jewish Leadership led by Ben-Gurion declared independence on 14 May. The State of Israel declared itself as an independent nation, and was quickly recognized by the United States, Iran, the Soviet Union, and many other countries.
Over the next few days, approximately 1,000 Lebanese, 5,000 Syrian, 5,000 Iraqi, and 10,000 Egyptian troops invaded the newly-established state. Four thousand Jordanian troops invaded the Corpus separatum region encompassing Jerusalem and its environs, as well as areas designated as part of the Arab state by the UN partition plan. They were aided by corps of volunteers from Saudi Arabia, Libya and Yemen.
Daniel11;7-8
But out of her roots shall one (Imad Fayez Mughiyah -Hezbollah)stand up in his estate,which shall come with an army,and shall enter into the fortress (US embassy and barracks ,Beirut 1983)of the king of the north,and shall deal against them,and shall prevail;
And shall also carry captives into Egypt (TWA flight 847-1985)thier gods, with thier prnces, and with thier precious vessels of silver and gold;and he shall continue more years than the king of the north.
Imad Fayez Mughniyah died feb 12,2008
Ronald Reagon died june 5,2004
June 1985
TWA Flight 847 from Athens is hijacked by terrorists. The pilot is forced to fly to Beirut, where hijackers beat and kill a Navy diver. The plane is flown to Algiers, then back to Beirut again. Most passengers are released; 39 are held captive in Lebanon. Reagan vows that the U.S. will never give in to terrorists' demands. The remaining hostages are freed after 17 days.
Dan 11;9
So the king of the south shall come into his kingdom, and shall return into his own land.
Dan11;10-12
But his sons shall be stirred up,and shall assemble a mutitude of great forces;and one shall certainly come, and overflow, and pass through;then shall he return, and be stirred up,even to his fortress.
(1991 Gulf war)
And the king of the south shall be moved with choler, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north;and he shall set forth a great mutitude;but the mutitude shall be given into his hand.
And when he had taken away the mutitude, his heart shall be lifted up;and he shall cast down many ten thousands;but he shall not be strengthened by it.
(During the first war with Iraq,Sadam had the 3rd largest army in the world.Certainly a great mutitude. But they were given into the hand of the US.After the US army (its mutitude)was withdrawn from Iraq ,Sadam cast down many ten thousands. The kurds to the north and shias to the south.Even though the US imposed no fly zones to help the uprising ,Sadam defeated all that rose against him.)
Dan 11;13-17
(2003 Gulf war)
For the king of the north shall return, and set forth a mutitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come after certain years with a great army and with much riches. And in those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south;also the robbers of thy people shall exalt themselves to establish the vosion;but they shall fall. So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mount, and take the most fenced cities;and the arms of the south shall not withstandlneither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to withstand But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him;and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed. He shallalso set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him;thus shall he do;and he shall give him the daughter of women ,corrupting her;but she shall not stand on his side, neither be for him.
The US returned with an army greater than before and took the most fenced cities. Not even Sadam's chosen elect (elite republican guard) could withstand.
Daniel 11;18
After this shall he turn his face unto the isles, and shall take many;but a prince for his own behalf shall cause the reproach offerd by him to cease;without his own reproach he shall cause it to turn upon him.
Bush took prisoners to Cuba and has since been forced to give the detainees their day in court.
Daniel 11;19-20
Then shall he turn his face toward the fort of his own land;but stumble and fall, and not be found. Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom;but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.
Bush then conceded his estate(the White house)to Obama who is a raiser of taxes. After a few years Obama would be defeated but not in battle.
Daniel 11;21
And in his estate shall stand up a vile person,to whom they shall not give the honor of the kingdom;but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.
