I made this video last night, it’s a simple 3 minute message.

Have you ever have someone tell you that you do not need to ask God for help with everything?

Do the birds ask God for every little thing? No, and he takes care of them:

Matthew 6:26

King James Version

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

The point here is that we should ask God for important things and should be praying daily for those things, and when called to serve him, we should pray always for to provide service to the Lord that is pleasing to him.

Most normal people are too busy living their lives and taking care of their needs and the needs of their families to be too concerned with asking God for every little thing.

In fact asking too much could show a lack of true faith in God. It can show that we lack the faith that God loves us and will provide for us when we try to take care of ourselves and our friends and families. Not asking enough could also show a lack of faith.

Hello,

If we say that we have faith, then why is it that we do not have a total dependency on God for everything that happens in out lives. The Birds of the air have a total dependency on God. They live and die because of their total dependency, on God.

Because we can act God like in the things that we do, we often have no need for God in our lives, and this "SIN" has consequences in our lives when tribulation, locus and pestilence surround us on a daily basis and we, "the righteous people," just simply blame God for our choses that have cause these things to appear and impact our lives. We can chose which "kingdom earth" we live in where we walk the length and breadth of it discovering God's handy work in all that we see.

Shalom

Your video Reminds me of 1 Cor 9:22. I think it’s wise of you to know you don’t know what others need to hear and to ask God to direct your way.

Jesus also says this too Devin.

““So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. If a son asks for bread from any father among you, will he give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those

who ask Him!””

"Pray then like this: 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.'"

The Bible is so vibrant with information.

The Holy Spirit; and asking God for help.

Jesus was saying that if we ask God for help by the spirit wouldn’t he help us?

What does that entail?

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭5:22-26‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

How wonderful is it to know you can ask God for help in these manners

The spirit comes to those that serve God. And also them that are in God and God in them. So you might feel those fruits of the Holy Spirit while serving God in ministry or charitable works. Just serve and he'll bless you.

Hello Jay,

Thank you for your insights. My only notion would be that our only righteousness is founded completely in Christ. We can never be fully righteous like Jesus. No matter how hard you or anyone may try.
