If a Christian is "sinning and repenting" "confessing and repenting", for years, then this is because they do not see themselves as God sees them.

Saint, Anything that is wrong with your Christianity, is not the devil, is not your flesh, ..is simply that you believe wrong, regarding how you understand "working out your salvation" and walking your walk of faith.
SEE everything that is related to you and God, is faith based. Its BELIEVING based.
So, if you believe wrong, your Christianity will be the same. = WRONG.

What is "correct faith"?
What is it?
What ?
Its to believe the same way that God believes about you.

The Renewed mind, is to BELIEVE about.....EVERYTHING, the same way that God believes.
Specifically, its to believe about Salvation and about Grace, and about sin, and about redemption, and about the blood of Jesus, and about your eternal position as Child of God.......exactly as God believes....as this is the "Knowledge of God".
And when you don't, you are trying to manifest your faith and your discipleship according to YOUR mind, and that is why you sin, repent, repeat, and do this since you've been saved and can't stop.
Your mind is Wrong, = your discipleship is wrong. = Your Faith is broken.
When you learn how to believe according to God's perspective , then everything about your faith and discipleship will be right.....but not until.

So, the "renewed mind" that Paul teaches you must acquire and maintain...., is to believe as God believes.
The verse that says....."renew your mind".
Well, most believers do not because you have not been shown how.
And so, you only view yourself and your faith according to your opinion or someone's bad theology who also does not believe right who taught you to believe wrong.

Correct faith, is to believe as God believes. This is the "right MIND". This is God's mind.
This is the "mind of Christ', and you are supposed to exist in that spiritual place of correct faith. And When you do this, you are walking in the Spirit, and when you don't, you are going to exist in "that which i want to do i can't, and that which i hate, i do".

To possess correct faith , is how you "work out your salvation". Its how you "present your body a living sacrifice". Its how you learn to stop failing and sinning and confessing and repenting, and instead do what Paul told you to do.. = "if you walk in the Spirit, you will not commit works of the flesh".
All of this, is the outcome of having correct faith as the 'renewed mind".

Now to believe as God believes....>How do you do that?
Well, you learn to believe about yourself only as God SEES you. and Until you exit there in your faith, you will fail to live a Holy Life and you will only struggle.

How does God see you at all times?

1.) Sinless and Righteous
2.) Always kept so by the Blood of Jesus.
3.) Always kept at Peace with God by the blood of Jesus
4.) Always "Made Righteous"

Salvation, which is what God did for you on The Cross, and gives to you as "the righteousness of God, in Christ' means, that God came here to earth to provide you with His Righteousness, because you didnt have any. And until you have His, He wont have you.
So, "the GIFT of Salvation" is God adopting you into His family by His own Blood and death on the Cross. And when He does He gives you a the NEW BIRTH = Born Again....that takes care of all Your Sin, Colossians 2:13 and Gives you His exact Righteousness as "the GIFT of Righteousness".
What does this mean?
It LITERALLY means that if you are born again, you are a "New Creation, In Christ"< made so by being Made the righteousness of God through God's blood that has removed ALL your sin and replaced it with ALL of God's own Righteousness. = "the GIFT of Righteousness".
If you are born again, you are literally as Righteous as God at all times, because God's shed blood keeps your sin redeemed, and God's "gift of Righteousness" always keeps you as Righteous as God.
That is how God SEES you. That is what God Believes about you if you are born again and not just water baptized and religious.
Now, YOU have to exist in that Knowledge of THE TRUTH. You have to BELIEVE what God believes about you.

If you learn to Believe that, and keep that "renewed mind", then and only then, you are in correct faith, because you now see yourself as God sees you, and not as you think you are... according to your wrong believing mind.
God SEES you as Righteous..... and God SEEs you as having no sin, because God Himself on the Cross has resolved your sin with His BLOOD 2000 yrs ago.....= All of your sin is resolved 2000 yrs ago, on The Cross, as the Blood Atonement. This is the "new Covenant" written in Christ's Blood.
If this was not so, you would not be "in Christ", and you would not remain""" the righteousness of God"""", or even have it.
So, until you are able to believe that you are always "Made Righteous"....., made so by The Cross of Christ...and kept so by the Cross of Christ.....then you are not seeing yourself as God BELIEVES, and until you do, you will keep committing works of the flesh, and repenting and repeating.

Get real!!! all sin each day we live on earth.

Im always Real.

Look.

Romans 6:22

""""But NOW ....= being made free from sin,....... and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.""""

Now, when you read 2 Corinthians 5:19..........then read....... Romans 4:8

You'll discover that Paul teaches that God does not charge sin to the born again.
Why not?
Because they are "made free from sin"...
How?

=The Cross of Christ redeems from all sin, and then God gives to the believer "the Gift of Righteousness".

"Jesus became sin for us". "Jesus is the one time eternal payment for sin".

End result? The born again are "made Righteous".

The NT refers to a Child of God as a "Saint".
The theologically confused, or the religious but lost, refer to the Born again as a "sinner".

If your read 1 John 3:9, that is written to the believer, vs, 1 John 1:9 that is John talking to unbelievers, then you'll find that the Born again are Made Free from sin.

Your confessing the same sin again and again and again....., does nothing but help you with you with your guilt Trip., Gismy_7..

See, if you are born again, and not just water baptized and religious, then Jesus has your sin, 2000 yrs ago.
All of it.
"God hath made JESUS to be our SIN ...to be sin for us"..... 2000 yrs ago on The Cross

Jesus is the "ONE TIME>......ETERNAL.......sacrifice for sin".

If you are not saved, then go to 1 John 1:9 and do what John tells you so that you can become 1 John 3:9, today.

  • Romans 10:9-13=== 9 That """if thou shalt confess""" with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Yes, in Romans 10, Paul says to confess that Christ is your Savior........by faith.

John in 1 John 1:9 says to confess that you have sin, as if you say you dont, then you are lying, and so the "confessing is made unto righteousness", same as Paul is teaching.

Then you become 1 John 3:9. and Romans 6:18 because of 2nd Corinthians 5:19

"made free from Sin"

So, you confess to God, and God FORGIVES through Christ.

Then your sin is forgiven and God gives you the "Gift of Salvation".

"made free from sin".

Going to Heaven, requires that we become as righteous as God.

We can't do that for ourselves......, as "all have sinned".

So, God came here as Christ on the Cross to give us His Righteousness as a Gift.

When you trust in Christ, God instantly gives you "the Gift of Righteousness".

What is the proof you have been "made righteous" by God?

A.) Born Again.

Being made free from sin, we therefore become servants of righteousness. A servant is one who performs the duties of another.

Romans 6
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
