True, but does it matter, he who holds the power of the judiciary, can do what they want, especially if they are corrupt.
The US Supreme Court likely to get involved in the Trump ballot ban.
There was no formal conviction of insurrection just opinions.
Our electoral system is a winner takes all electors of a state, and Trump lost Colorado in 2020. Endgame wise it may not have any effect on the 2024 outcome. Banning a major leading candidate is pure voter suppression of the wills of the voters.

Backstabbing former Attorney General Bill Barr has criticized the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to disqualify former President Donald Trump from appearing on the state’s ballot. Barr, a known critic of Trump, labeled the ruling as ‘Procedural Frankenstein’ and argued that the finding lacks legal credibility and constitutional backing.

The Colorado Supreme Court ruled that Trump’s involvement in the events of January 6 disqualified him from the presidency, citing the 14th Amendment. The Amendment states that no one engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the United States shall hold any office. Trump’s campaign announced plans to appeal to the US Supreme Court.

It should be noted that Donald Trump has not been found guilty of anything related to January 6 in a court of law.

Thank God America has a 6/3 conservative super majority in the US Supreme Court

The corrupt judicial political activism that took place in Colorado, removing President Trump from the ballott, will soon be in the trash can when appealed to the higher courts

Just let's you see how desperate these liberal judicial activist are in Colorado, the very same court that presided over "Jack Phillips" the cake baker, as they drug him through the mud on refusing to bake cakes with homosexual meanings on them, overturned by the US Supreme Court

They just make it up ! what drugs are they on !
They all have to go, kicked out of office for being a total fool !

Nonsense like that is typical of Communist Nations in fact !
For they are of their father who was a liar from the beginning and a Murderer ! watch out for people like that !

If they can call nonsense like that on Trump what will they do to the rest of the Nations People !
We have seen one of such grubs make claims that half of the Nation are undesirables ? and she got away with such a moronic remark ! What if Trump said that ? the MSM would hound him for ever about saying such a thing !

Concerns are intensifying among far-left national security “experts” and Pentagon insiders over the possibility that former President Donald Trump might leverage the U.S. military to enforce his political will if he returns to the Oval Office.

In a detailed report, NBC News inadvertently admitted the existence of a “Deep State,” allegedly working to facilitate a military coup against former President Trump if he is freely and fairly elected by Americans.

I pray SCOTUS does the right thing on the ballot issue.
However, when the sten election was not addressed by them at the time, and the Chief Justice was responsible for that, I don't know that they will.

It takes a lot of something to get that level of collusion to succeed.

And if the Amendment in question were enforced, our Congress would look very different.
Nancy Pelosi would be out,for one. But since she's still in, it is a wait and see.
