Not Asleep, But Comatose

I believe we should live in a state of being ready for the Lord Jesus' return yet while we are eagerly anticipating His coming again we should be working! What I mean by using the word "working" is saying that we should be living a holy life, proclaiming the good news, spreading the gospel, standing for justice and helping those in need! That is what I believe our Lord wants us to do while we wait for His return!

""We must work the works of Him who sent Me as long as it is day; night is coming when no one can work." (John 9:4)

Amen, we are to be "working out our own salvation with fear and trembling" which we do by daily SURRENDERING to "whatsoever thing (Jesus) has commanded." So many people are doing the opposite of readying themselves - they are trying to find ways to place one foot in the world and the other in the Kingdom, which is impossible.
