God has plans for those among His own people who run contrary to Him. Jesus' word to the Pharisees, Scribes, Hypocrites, Blind Guides, and Lawyers was "Woe", meaning: "an interjection of grief or of denunciation." As this example passage;

Matthew 23:13
But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in."
And to the Goats among the Sheep:

Matthew 25:31-46
"When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory. 32 All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33 And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left...these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."
God is not mocked. He is a God of justice. It is written "A day is coming says the Lord.' And that is the day that such will get what He has promised and warned of.

Unfortunately, there are many among us who operate much like Pharisees in that they have studied the scripture and act as if they know them or God, when they do not. And they go about in sheep's clothing teaching and preaching and calling upon the scriptures to justify what they do not know, but only perceive to understand of what is written. And many are destine to end up among the goats and shall perish: "go away into everlasting punishment."

Beware!

This is like what God told Elijah:

1 Kings 17:4
And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.”
Which is to say, that even the ravens who rob to eat will be a source of food for you--even from heaven, as "all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose."

As for the greater analogy of goats: When Jesus referred to His dividing the sheep from the goats, He was referring to the church, wherein there are those who even contribute to feeding His sheep and His lambs, who are not of the sheep fold of Christ, but have themselves been feeding in the same pastures like tares among the wheat.

i was thinking of 1 Corinthians 3:1-5 and what milk were they fed with that was: “I could not speak to you as spiritual” “but as carnal”. Unless I’ve misunderstood that is what is always suggested of the goats …that they are carnal. Going about dressed as a sheep but instead inwardly causing division, strife, envying…1 Corinthians 3:3

Just wondering if goats milk comes from goats, or is it a milk suitable to “babes in Christ” not able to (yet) bear. why does it matter? what is the point? wondering can one that is considered a goat move on from (yet) needing milk, to becoming a sheep equipped to bear? Seems like Paul is saying it is possible…

It sounds like you have pretty good grasp of it. But, yes, a goat fights, but a sheep surrenders--that is, to the Shepherd. Certainly goats can surrender, but will they? Many will not.

I’ve been a goat. There is far too much evidence and history manifested; where I would have to be blind to not see the presence of a goat.

Yup pretty much, today would be called theologians, back then doctors of the law.
Good point of bringing it into the present day!

Yes, many theologians more worship the written word, than they do the Author...and therefore, do not know Him and His ways as they should. Which is relevant to Jesus' warning and Him saying to some who think they know better, but will hear from Him, "I never knew you--depart from Me."

On the other hand, many theologians simply love to consume as much of Him in word as they possibly can, and to share what has freely been given to them.

Goats and sheep.

But we already know that these are not God's "own people". That is why "woes" were pronounced on them.

when I read Paul talking to them about still being carnal and for this reason he fed them with milk, because they could not yet bear the meat…I don’t hear a slight or condemnation but instead an urging…as an nursemaid cherishes her children. Christ Jesus said the same to the disciples in “I have more to tell you but you are not yet able to bear it.” We see where that led… on this side of it: how could those running scared—fearful in heart and fainting.. become “standing” instead of “falling away”?

maybe I’m crazy, most days I think I am but what if everything in the word of God points…at what we tend to despise and discount: which are the goats. For instance out of the mouth of babes You have perfected praise, or when Jesus thanked the Father for revealing it to babes? Then Paul points to them as babes in Christ, yet carnal… feeding a babe til it is weaned to become fully matured and grown up in Christ being equipped of God to bear all things. How can this not be “His praise perfected” out from the mouth of babes? Babes —yet carnal —rejected of men but received of God—for the perfecting of His Body …not able to bear but by His power; to show His strength in weakness, in Him they are made Strong. Scary to me is “if any hurt one of these little ones” they “Harm Me” …Paul said something similar in sitting with a weak brother in the temple…where if Paul destroys him who was weak, Paul destroyed Christ. To me it speaks of: let the tares and the wheat grow together; unless you pull up that which was planted in Christ of God; along with that which was planted of man…so then you sin against your brother and no longer walk in Charity. Which to me speaks of: the one who says he walks in the Light, then let him walk in the Light of Christ doing no harm.

Point is, we (or at least I’ve always heard) an owning or claiming as ourselves as “the babes” being yet carnal… all the while claiming to be “mature” and weaned from the milk…so confusing is claiming both “carnal” babes in need of the milk, and also those eating the meat… how can that which is carnal bear the meat? Consider again where Christ told them He had more to tell them but they couldn’t bear it yet. With God will put no more on you than you can bear…but with it He will what?

But then again
1 Corinthians 9:22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

Philippians 4:11-13 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. [12] I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. [13] I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Yes... Warnings of Woes, upon whom and when and why.

Woes...

Rev 8
[13] And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

Rev.9

[12] One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

Rev.11

[14] The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

Rev.12

[12] Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Glory to God,
