How can a completed Bible goes against the New Covenant? Had all the translations used the word "complete" instead of "perfect" there would have been no confusion. But the International Standard Version got it right:

International Standard Version
But when what is complete comes, then what is incomplete will be done away with.

We know from the closing words of the book of Revelation that the Bible was completed with that book. John also warned that nothing more should be added to his prophecies, and by extension to the Bible. Therefore tongues, prophecies, and supernatural knowledge are not required. The Bible is sufficient.

Do you honestly believe we see God even with the Bible? No! We STILL see Him as through a dark glass. Reading about Him, is not the same as seeing Him. We will only know Him as He knows us now, when we see Him FACE TO FACE. That conclusion is written by Paul, not reasoned out by unbelieving Cessationists who twist God's word to justify their lack of experiences. If you haven't experienced the baptism of the Holy Spirit, it is not too late. You can still repent and open you heart to all God has for you.

The vision of God is the thing. Do we see His face clearly? Do we see Him? Yes, as through a dark glass, but our vision needs to be improving. To say it is already perfect means we already perfectly submitted to our Head [Jesus] all of the time. Those of course who are still dead to God are blind.

"Where there is no vision, the people perish..." Prov 29:18
"Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them." Matt 13:13-15

"But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead." Matt 8:22

People who know God the most are able to keep secrets. Otherwise the God who is the Keeper of secrets will not reveal much at all to a person. A prophet can know something for many years without uttering a peep about it.

A prophet speaks as the oracle of God....and doesn't dissipate his/her speech needlessly. A person who speaks too quickly can't be trusted with God's secrets.

Just like with music, the words of the Lord are about timing. When the Spirit moves in the belly of the prophet...and burns like a fire...that is when the prophet speaks. Not before.
