Where we wear them? Don't know that we Wear them.

The 24 elders wear their crowns on their head, and then bow before He who sits on the throne, worshipping Him and cast their crowns before His throne.

Maybe we follow suit of their example.

Jesus has many CROWNS on his head.
Jesus had a golden crown and many diadems that proved he had authority over all the earth

I wonder how many people realize how often we try to make the words of the Bible communicate a specific meaning, when the authers are speaking in generalities; with analogies? Speaking about God is not easy.....working to find language that expresses ideas that are unexplainanable. Something tells me that if the authors could hear us quibbling and ranting, they would tell us to loosen up and get to loving each other

And who is saying people are not loving one another?

I love all people, family, friends, quaintences, unknown, and enemies...

Who is saying otherwise?

I don't feel guilty.
I'm just talking,,,I like to hear what others think.
No ill feelings toward anyone. Even when I don't agree.

Since 'we' have had insufficient knowledge about sin, I just started a new thread on 'who sins?' should be very revealing....

So you love perfectly, every second of the day? Never a selfish moment or thought?

How are you defining...Loving perfectly?

Defined, by not being selfish?

I disagree.

Scripture defines perfect love, as not being in fear.

A new man learning about God should be in fear.

I do not fear God.

1 John 4:18

I hear the opposite of love is fear, not hate.

Isn't that what you believe in, that you can lose your salvation if you don't do something more?

Ok, so I'm still confused on why you believe you can lose your salvation.
It's not a matter of doing something more.
If we have faith, we also are happy to obey.
If we are Not happy to obey, there's something wrong.
Our obedience is a sign of our love for God.
When we do not obey, we ask forgiveness and continue our walk with Him.
This is different than living a life of sin.

What...you speak for me...then pretend you're understanding me?

Sorry, but that sounds very typical of a Catholic defender.

You do not love perfectly, sorry.

Right, it's called sanctification. So why are you preaching non-osas and not the perseverance of the saints.

Now who is speaking for whom? I did not define selfishness as a complete definition of loving imperfectly

Perseverance of the saints. Does God preserve us? Or do we have something to do with our sanctification?
I'll reply to you tomorrow.

Those who believe their works could save them are wrong. Only God could justify us.
To justify means to make right with God. Only Jesus could make us right with God.
His plan from the beginning...salvation through the atonement, which could only be accomplished by God,,,Jesus.

So does this mean we stop obeying? No. God demands obedience, He always has.
But in Jesus we're safe. He covers for us when we sin. The Bible does not teach that we do not sin.

To the contrary, the Bible does teach...
Whosoever is born of God can not sin.

1 John 3:9.

Are you born of God? If so, why do you not believe Scripture?

God Bless,

We work out our salvation, not work for. For it is God who works in you...

Phil 2:12-13 Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, 13for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

Who said anything about complete?

You said selfishness, I responded...you want to add more to your definition, go ahead.
