I don’t understand the significance of the question to Seventh day Adventists or what the significance of being a Papists is?

Indeed he did, though there is nothing about agreeing that he did that mean that they are a Papist and there is nothing about the day on which Christ rose that means that we should set aside God’s commands against committing idolatry, adultery, murder, theft, rape, favoritism, kidnapping, or His command to keep the 7th holy or an of God’s other commands.

I (as a Seventh-day Adventist) have personally answered him on this subject in many forums in great detail. He simply refuses to listen, and this will be my only post on the subject, and I will not be replying to him any further on the matter (he is just looking for attention).
The answer is in my book - The 7th Day The Sabbath - The Rest Of His Eternal Story (by Aaron Earnest) : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive
If he cannot find it, it wasn't for lack of me pointing it out, or providing the evidence to him (ad nauseum, ad infinitum). See Chapter 18, pages 463-505 internally. A direct link to that chapter is here - The 7th Day The Sabbath - The Rest Of His Eternal Story (by Aaron Earnest) : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive

What is it with some people who seem to have it out for certain denominations? Phil 4:8 tells us to focus on good things. Why the obsession over doctrinal differences - real or perceived?

Jefferson said a man who believes in 10 gods or no gods neither picks my pocket or breaks my bones. I’ve only had great conversations with SDA, including @BarneyFife.

Read up on your New Testament about the problems Apostle Paul had to deal with regarding Jewish converts to Christ. They constantly tried to bring believers back under bondage to the law...

Titus 1:7-16
7 For a bishop must be blameless, as the steward of God; not self-willed, not soon angry, not given to wine, no striker, not given to filthy lucre;

8 But a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;

9 Holding fast the faithful word as he hath been taught, that he may be able by sound doctrine both to exhort and to convince the gainsayers.

10
For there are many disorderly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision:

11
Whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of sordid gain.

12
One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are always liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.

13
This testimony is true: wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;

14
Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men that turn from the truth.

15
To the pure all things are pure: but to them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

16
They profess that they know God; but in works they deny Him, being abominable, and disobedient, and to every good work reprobate.
Webster

Apostle Paul himself was Jewish, born of the tribe of Benjamin. But he gave a pretty harsh account about some of his Jewish brethren who converted to Jesus.

In Galatians, some of the Jewish converts were evidently spying in the bathrooms at the Gentile believers, to see if they were circumcised...

Gal 2:3-5
3 But neither Titus, who was with me, being a Greek, was compelled to be circumcised:
4 And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
5 To whom we gave place by subjection, no, not for an hour; that the truth of the gospel might continue with you.
KJV

That problem with Jewish converts began in Judea with those of the circumcision claiming the Gentiles must be circumcised and keep the law of Moses in order to be saved (See Acts 15). Some of those converts had come from the Pharisees (Acts 15:5). To this day, SDA stresses following many of the law traditions of the orthodox Jews, especially that of the sabbath day, some of them even going so far overboard that they almost try to put sabbath keeping over Faith on Jesus Christ. They also do not believe that Jesus of Nazareth is GOD having come in the flesh, even though the Matthew 1:23 Scripture declares that Jesus is "Emmanuel" (from Isaiah 7), which means "God with us" as written there in Matthew 1.

The Psalms express an extremely positive view of obeying the Law of God, such as with David repeatedly saying that he loved it and delighted in obeying it, so it we consider the Psalms to be Scripture and to therefore express a correct view of obeying it, then we will also delight in obeying it, which is incompatible with viewing it as being bondage. For example, in Psalm 1:1-2, blessed are those who delight in the Law of the Lord and who mediate on it day and night, so we can't believe in the truth of those words as Scripture while not allowing them to shape our view of obeying it. Moreover, the authors of the NT should be interpreted in light of the fact were in complete agreement with the Psalms, especially because Paul also Sid that he delighted in obeying the Law of God (Romans 7:22), which again is incompatible with thinking that Paul also viewed it as being bondage.

If God had saved the Israelites out of bondage in Egypt in order to put them under bondage to His law, then it would be for bondage that God sets us free, however, Galatians 5:1 says that it freedom that God sets us free, so it is important to correctly identify what he was speaking against. In Psalms 119:142, the Law of God is truth, and in John 8:31-36, it the transgression of the Law of God that puts us into bondage while the truth sets us free. So did God give His law for the purpose of putting His children into bondage? No. Can the Law of God be perverted into bondage. Yes.

If Paul had been speaking against circumcision for any reason and not just against incorrect reasons, then Galatians 5:2 would mean that Paul caused Christ to be of no value to Timothy when he had him circumcised and Christ is of no value to roughly 70% of the men in the US. In Acts 15:1, men from Judea were wanting to require Gentiles to become circumcised in order to become saved, however, that was never the reason why God commanded circumcision, so the Jerusalem Council upheld the Law of God by correctly ruling against requiring circumcision for an incorrect reason. In Exodus 12:48, Gentiles who want to eat of the Passover lamb are required to become circumcised, so the Jerusalem Council should not be interpreted as ruling against Gentiles correctly obeying what God has commanded as if they had the authority to countermand God.

It would be impossible for someone to correct follow the Bible without following traditions for how to follow it, so the problem is not the there is something inherently wrong with following the traditions of Orthodox Jews, but can by wrong is the spirit with which they are followed such as if they are followed out of pride and hypocrisy. Paul never stopped identifying as a Pharisee (Acts 23:6), so most of the NT was written by an Orthodox Jew and involves following traditions that he taught.
