Wouldn’t you consider Paul praying three times about a problem a struggle?

That was a “thorn” in the flesh, nothing to do with him struggling with any sin.

“And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.” (2 Corinthians 12:7)

I just find that rather so unbiblical.

God doesn’t struggle with sin.

I’m not God. All I can do is make a choice abide in Christ or not.

Just because a person quotes the Bible doesn’t mean anything it all boils down the heart of a person and their relationship with God and not one man can interfere with this.

All a person can do is hear; for faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. Quoting scriptures is just a form of quoting something however it is not a proper form of study, or a proper way of reading which normally always starts from the beginning of a book from the first chapter to the ending of the book in the last chapter.

The letters you quoted for example like first Peter.

So the first Peter letter was written to these people, sure there is merit to what he said and principles but all of them still struggled, and they where written to be encouraged to not lose faith or to lose hope.

If you can’t honestly admit that you yourself struggle with just the daily life of being here on earth, you don’t be able to help other people who struggle even by quoting scriptures.

However listen this is the point each individual is responsible for their own lives between the
and God and no man has the right to judge them to damnation or condemnation at all, because all people have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and this is why we need Jesus the Messiah.

It’s the truth, and there is no argument against something being true brother. There are people who believe they have some type of authority to dominate others in their faith.

However even Paul did not do this.

Paul wrote and said to the Corinthians in his second letter:

Okay, so does that mean that person will never make a sinful action ever again in their lifetime? Let’s be realistic here, that is what the scripture you are sharing seems to indicated.

What is sin? Wasn’t it the law that lead to knowing sin?

So considering you are quoting 1 Peter who wrote to Jewish people specifically he is talking about how they were to become dead to sin, in the sense of becoming dead to the law of Moses, in the sense of Jesus is the one who now brings you makes you right with God, and you no longer need a tutor which Paul stated to the Galatians.

I believe there is some confusion of what people consider sin. The Law of Moses is what makes people aware of Sin, and Jesus came and fulfilled the law of Moses and fulfilled the prophets that is what he came to do.

• Matthew 5:17 Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

Now if Jesus hasn’t fulfilled them then we need to obey everything in the Law of Moses in order to cease from Sin. Or we can believe in the Lord Yeshua and allow him by his power and might with God with us to help Change our lives by the spirit. How ever our flesh doesn’t please God.

The Law of Moses is completely holy and good, but it puts a lot of demand on the flesh, and if one person failed in one point.

It all boils down back to living by the spirit and allowing God to help you by the Holy Spirit that is sent by his son.

What are the commandments? To Love God and love others and the work of God is to believe on the whim who had sent Jesus.

Is there a part of spiritual life where we are so put away our sinful nature? Sure there is.

Claiming to be rescued after going down the flush because of ones sins and then continuing to perpetrate ones sins is hardly being rescued!
