    Just pondering

OT saints are they saved in believing in God ? as we do in Jesus
Did they not have a salvation plan for a resurrection ?
What is in their resurrection that is going to be any different from future resurrections ?
Will they not have part in the first resurrection just like the NT saints ?
If they are in the first resurrection, then their salvation was good under the OT Laws. ?

What was better for the NT saints that the OT saints, as pertaining to be saved ?
Did they not both qualify for the resurrection ?

No one is saved before the end of their lives. Then comes judgment.

So already you are speaking from a man-made religious indoctrination.

And we will all be judged against what we have been given. So then you may be surprised on just what salvation actually means. salvation for some will not be a cheerful thing.

Are you saying people can be saved at any given time depending what salvation plan they kept at that time ?
Judgment will be on what they have done at the last moment, right or wrong will determine their destiny ?

I do think people can be saved before they die, if the endure before the end.

The Old Testament saints before Jesus all died in their sins.
The New Testament saints after Jesus all died or will die in their sins. ????? If so ?
They all receive the same resurrection. Is this so ?

Yes, they were justified by faith. By believing the promise God made about Messiah.

Hebrews 9:15 "And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance."
Those OT saints have redemption through Christ as Christians today. Christ's death atone's for the sins of those OT saints in that His blood flowed backwards to wash away their sins as it flows forward to us today to wash away our sins. Therefore Christ's shed blood is the basis for all that will be saved, OT times and NT times today.

OT saints were JUSTIFIED by grace through faith, which means that they were saved by believing in God and also following through with the animal sacrifices which prefigured Christ. Abel offered a whole burnt offering, and so did Noah (all all the others).
Absolutely. But they would need to wait for the finished work of Christ and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
They are now in Heaven as the spirits of just men made perfect. See Hebrews 12. They will be included in the Resurrection/Rapture, along with all the NT saints.
Good but not complete until they also received the gift of the Holy Spirit (presumably on the day of Pentecost).

This is not accurate....Believers are saved from the reigning power of sin here and now, so they do not have to go into second death.

Just so everyone is aware, the above is also someone speaking from "man-made religious indoctrination." But the bad part about it is it is completely unbiblical.

Those in Christ are saved right now. It is the I am saved, I am being saved, and I will be saved truth found in Scripture. This is what is entailed in the glorious truths of Romans 8:28-30. Note especially Romans 8:30 as all of these things are already accomplished for those in Christ.

    Yes indeed, like this;jn5
24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

    Amen!

It always makes me chuckle when these guys give out their man made truth (generally false) and mock others for having man made truth. Since their teaching "obviously" came straight from heaven to their brain, why is it almost always unbiblical? :)

Abraham is the example of this given in Romans. They were saved in the OT by grace through faith. Note Romans 4 and embrace this truth.

Genesis 15:6 said Abram/Abraham believed God and it was credited to him for righteousness. This righteousness is not self-righteousness as that is nothing more than a used “filthy” cloth[Isaiah 64:6]. This righteousness is a God-given righteousness that is the imputed righteousness of the Christ. So, yes OT saints were saved.

Where does it says the OT saints died in their sins? Enoch was an OT saint God took to be with Him. Elijah went up in a chariot of fire to be with Him, too. Obviously they didn’t die in their sins[John 8:24].

That's just truth, not plagiarism. Plagiarism is like when I say all these brilliant things (there are so many I can't count them all) and then you go and repeat them, tweet them, get a tattoo of them and act like you came up with it on your own. Lawsuit pending. And stuff. :D
