Enow, I agree to much of what you say. However, I do not hold to a separate event of "the rapture", being prior to Jesus returning in the fullness of His Glory "in flaming fire. I see the rapture as being a simultaneous event of redemption for His church, and destruction upon all unbelievers, of whom none shall escape or be left alive.

Well, as we prophesy in part and know in part, we have to lean on Him for the truth in His words for us to know before that time, God be willing.

If you read about the 3 angels that sets up the hour of temptation that shall try all upon the earth where everyone will know the gospel, and everyone will know of the calamity of fire that destroyed USA with that third part of the world, the entire western hemisphere, whereby the mark of the beast system will come, that bio chip to buy and sell to survive in the 2/3 rd rest of the world, for why every one will be warned by the third angel that if they take that mark, they will be damned to burn in the lake of fire forever, in Revelation 14:6-11 ... now note the second angel.... whereby the details of that fall of Babylon is explained in Revelations 18th chapter where at the end of that chapter are the left behind saints dead in her where the voice of the bridegroom and the bride will no longer be heard in her any more because the bridegroom had come and gone; hint in Revelations 14:1-5 where the virgin men redeemed from the earth are the ones that make up His personal choir that follows Him wherever He goes. There are other raptured but that reference was about who made up His personal choir that was redeemed from among the virgin men on earth.

So there is cause to reconsider your view on what will come. Luke 12:40-49 has Jesus warning believers that if they are not ready as found abiding in Him, then they will be cut off and have their "portions" with unbelievers, and yet He still calls them servants as they will be getting stripes per the knowledge for not being ready by. So that calamity of fire that will be sent on the earth in Luke 12:49 is what Peter was talking about in 2 Peter 3:3-15 where we are running that race looking to the author & finisher of our faith to help us lay aside every weight & sin to be received as that vessel unto honor in His House whereas those saints, and even former believers, that fail to look to Him for help to depart from iniquity will be left behind in becoming vessels unto dishonor in His House when resurrected after the great tribulation.

God will judge His House first ( 1 Peter 4:17-19 ) and we can trust Him in the keeping of the souls of those saints left behind to suffer the fire on the earth and the coming great tribulation, that means He will keep those with His seal from taking the mark of the beast.

Just pondering

OT saints are they saved in believing in God ? as we do in Jesus...

Yes,
Because they Believed in the Word of God, (without the understanding the Word of God would be manifested in the flesh).

Glory to God,

When Abraham was called on by God, Abraham believed in the true God.
Abraham came from an idol worshiped family.
God tested Abraham's faith with Isaac, what would have happened if he failed the test ?
Would Abraham have become unrighteous ?
Was it about faith or salvation ?

If ?
