The Jews considered themselves the chosen people....but chosen for what?
Roman Catholics consider themselves chosen also as do Mormons and Jehovah's Witnesses....as does Islam....need I go on?

The Hebrews were chosen to share/disseminate the knowledge of the living God to the nations around them. What did they end up doing? ...slaughtering the nations around them and blaming God for the order to do so in an attempt to mitigate responsibility.

Christians also consider themselves chosen but are in equal error if it means gathering in exclusive clubs defined by who is in and who is out. If it means using the funds gathered from adherents or businesses set up for gain to purchase real estate and build Cathedrals; one out-doing the other in expense, style and opulence....in short, glorifying themselves while arranging their hierarchies according to the patterns of the World's systems.

God has given men gifts in all areas, including voice and music. Are these gifts to be used to glorify systems and individuals?
Here this some sort of measure....expensive and matching outfits? ...paltry though it may sound.

I'm well aware this is difficult for the 'religious' to swallow. It is difficult because its implications threaten the core value of these systems/individuals.
