There was no difference on either side of the border. Perhaps worse on the south side. And it was the systematic official destruction of the buffalo herds in the USA which was meant to decimate the Indians. While Lincoln was supposedly freeing black slaves, he was enslaving the red slaves.

Some of these Residential Schools were operated by Anglican Churches.
And all supported by the Canadian and US governments at the time.
It's a disgrace that some deny these murders, rapes, etc and brush it off like it did not happen.
These are NOT TABLOID stories, as a previous poster indicated.

None of those people are in Heaven, because Jesus was very clear in Jhn 3:13 that He was the only human being that would ever go there. Everybody else that dies has to wait for the appropriate time where Christ will resurrect them. It sounds cruel because people would rather be comforted with lies, but that's what the Bible teaches.
