Psalm 90
10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

This is called cherry picking and is a contextual fallacy, taking the subject out of context. Someone able to live to 80 years has nothing to do with budding being a sign of the second coming's "summer".

Psa 90:9 For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.
Psa 90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
Psa 90:11 Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.
Psa 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Nah. This what is called being spot on and understanding what you are reading.

Why did you fail to post the next verse that tells the tale?

Psalm 90
13 Return, O Lord, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.

Obviously not. The passage is about lifespans of people, 70-80 years not a generation, not what Christ spoke about. Pure cherry picking out of context. 1948 isn't remotely what Christ was talking about.

So someone born in 1970 is the same generation as long as they live to be 80?

Oh. It's parable. I wonder why Jesus spoke in parables.

Matthew 24
32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Did someone born in 1970 see Israel born as a nation in 1948?
My point was when do you start and stop this generation you are referring to. You said a generation was 80 years. From 1948 to 1970 is only 22 years. 20 years is only a quarter of 80 years.

You did not like 120. Yet if those people in 1948 were 30 years old, they would be 105, or all dead. So your 80 years don't cut reality. It is just a number you throw out there as a hard stop 80 years after 1948, literally 2028. Then when nothing has happened in 2028, what are you going to do?
