We were all so busy talking about Charlie Kirk's assassination that we forgot to mention 9/11 remembrance day.
Twenty four years ago. That horrible event changed the lives of everyone. Constant surveillance everywhere and examination upon entering certain places.
I saw the planes crash live on TV....missed the first plane but then saw the second one crash into the World Trade Center. Some people were jumping out of the windows to escape the flames. Thick dust and smoke everywhere. First responders rushing to the scene, some of which died or got illnesses from breathing toxic materials.
And then heard about the plane crashing into the Pentagon and the one in the Pennsylvania countryside. The passengers in the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania prevented the hijackers from reaching either the White House or the Capitol Building with our lawmakers.
I wonder if the young people today realize how terrible this event truly was?
