8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. - Ephesians 2:8-9.

A powerful thing about the word of God is; it contains a message that only comes by revelation. I believe that the word of God does all it can do to present a message that only comes by revelation. It has in it a gospel message to the human being that can only be revealed by the Holyspirit. Holyspirit teaching is the revelation that all believers need to understand. Every believer is at a different level or place in their understanding of God. You could talk all day about the difference in what believers know. When we are admonished to gather together it says one should have a song, one should have prophecy, and one should have a revelation. Spured on by the word to have understanding when we gather. Salvation is; spirit saved at the cross, or by the cross when you believe.

Your on going salvation has to do with the mind, the renewing of the mind to it's new creation life nature. The word does not say alot about body it is only a tool for earth living. Needs food, health and so on to exsist but it is just a container. The content in the body is where Christianity comes in, designed perfectly for possessing Christ. People spend alot of time fixing the body up, they dress it up and primp it and tuck it and fix it up. Body is what you see, but in actuality body is used for expression of content. If Christ lives it is by and through your body using mind. Jesus comes out of a believer by Spirit, through mind, by using body. That was a mouth full.

As a matter of fact what the church is known for is; the body of Christ. This multitude of people that have been born again constitutes the body of Christ. They are to unequivocally to know and express the life of Christ, or allow Christ a place of greater living. The greater the understanding that is in the body the greater the expression. Revelation is always the key, the deep understanding that you know longer live and have another in you that does the living. We had another in us before Christ that did the living and we didn't know it. We have another life in us now, a new creation life that is to do the living and we can know it. We can get the knowledge that is written now for all humanity to see and understand (by revelation).

When an earthquake shook the Roman jail and the jailer feared for his life and asked about salvation. Paul said to "believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved." What is so powerful about that statement? for the first time salvation is presented with out works. That salvation we learn, comes by the life of another in me. The other in me is my salvation, Christ in you the hope of glory.

GINOLJC, to all.
Addressing the OP. Great topic.
Every believer is at a different level or place in their understanding of God.
this is 100% correct, each man (male and female) have been given the measure of Faith. and you hit the nail on the head, "Your on going salvation has to do with the mind, the renewing of the mind to it's new creation life nature". Romans 12:2 "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."

Ephesians 4:23 "And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;"
Ephesians 4:24 "And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness."

this is only accomplish by the teaching of the Holy Ghost. 1 Corinthians 2:10 "But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God."
1 Corinthians 2:11 "For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God."
1 Corinthians 2:12 "Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God."
1 Corinthians 2:13 "Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual."
1 Corinthians 2:14 "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."
1 Corinthians 2:15 "But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man."
1 Corinthians 2:16 "For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ."

Side Note: for all those who still say we cannot know all things about God, well at least the "DEEP" things. one need re-read 1 Corinthians 2:10 again.

again, "ye have not because ye ask not".

While I agree that the word of God comes by revelation, (for who can know the mind of God except God reveal himself to man?) Understanding the message is a natural process not a supernatural process as you suggest. God has endowed human beings with the faculties and abilities to come to a knowledge of the truth, given information and sound reason. Human beings have the natural ability to hear and believe the truth. Our problem isn't centered in our minds or our ability to understand the truth. Our problem is in our hearts or our ability to accept the truth.

Why do I say this?
In his epistle to the Romans, Paul argues that all people are sinners, under the penalty of God's wrath, even those peoples who have not had the benefit of God's oracles. Why? Because God has made himself evident in his creation.

Romans 1:18-20

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

You see, we are not being blamed for lack of belief; we are blameworthy for suppressing what we already know to be true. God's wrath is being poured out on those who have the innate, natural ability to see evidence of God's existence in his creation, but are unwilling to acknowledge his existence, choosing instead to innovate a another "god" to worship. Unbelief is the suppression of ideas that we already know to be true. Unbelief is not a privation of the mind; it is a privation of the will.
