I don't think we are anywhere near the last days unless that is; that the last days began when Jesus walked the earth and preached his ministry, which then leads me to go back and say; at what poitn in the last days are we living.

Jerusalem was trampled by Gentiles in AD70 when the Romans sacked it and was again trampled by gentiles when the Muslims, the crusaders had it for 87 years and it didn't bring in the end times, and that was part of a Christian kingdom.

Seems to me the last days started with the new covenant. Last days meaning, the last of the covenants, the last years of life on earth before judgement.

The Jews had a covenant with God thousands of years ago. God promised a new covenant later. Now we have the last covenant, therefore the last days.

As far as end times,,,,,,,,, There's many things that have to happen first.

If we think along the lines as those who are in Christ as Jeruselem,,,, It could be something different altogether.

The Jews came to the area that is now called Germany in the year 300 and i do believe that was the first wave.

But the Jer.24 prophecy involving Israel becoming a nation again in 1948 is most important to learning the parable of the fig tree our Lord Jesus commanded us to learn.

We've been in the 'last days' since Christ's first coming to die on the cross. That's when the official countdown began. But the events of the end are per God's timing and schedule, not ours. He is long-sufferring like Peter said, and wants for all to repent and come to Him. We should have patience with Him in that.

But the end of this present world is coming.

By following the seven signs our Lord Jesus gave, which are what the Seals, Trumpets, and Vials of Revelation are about, we are somewhere around the 3rd and 4th Seals. The 3rd Seal is about the balances of commerce. I believe it began with the ideas long ago involving world finance between the nations. We've been in a global economy for quite some time now. Under that global systems markets are tied together. What influences one affects the others. And the free nations are starting to see the balances move towards weakening western economies while boosting economies of third world nations.

The 4th Seal is about control over the earth by Satan using four stages, by sword (education of lies), by death (spiritual death by false religion), by hunger (world finance), and by beasts (political). God gave this prophecy in the Book of Joel about a people that would work like locusts to devour the earth. A locust develops in 4 stages. Per Rev.9, the final stage of the locust army involves world religion. And that is the final stage of control still in the works today (ecumenicalism, the joining of all religions under one authority).

The reason why all the world's religions are being pulled together in a universal tolerance atmosphere is to support that final stage of the locusts, and prepare for the coming false messiah king. This is why many Christian Church organiztions are turning Socialist, accepting the false idea that there are other paths to God than Christ Jesus. This is why more Church organizations are invitng those of other religions to come into their Church and give demonstrations and lectures about their various beliefs and religious practices.

The days are fast coming when we as true Christians who hold to Christ Jesus as The ONLY Way of Salvation will be greatly persecuted for holding to that Biblical truth. We are already denounced as fundalmentalists today just for holding to that belief about Christ Jesus as The Only Way to be saved.
