Well you hold onto the 3 years and keep adding onto them. We were married four when we were on the verge of divorce in spite of two toddlers. God got hold of us.

Similar pattern of life...ours was so bad 3 years later ...if God had not have stepped in and saved us then, I would have left and taken the children as I was so close to going when we got saved.
Funny, but not funny...when I got saved I came into the kitchen and said " Well I have just given my life to the Lord...I am going to join a church and you can go to hell."
THAT was my first outreach message!! hahaha!! Not my best message. :)
But God even used that..Dave was so scared that I was leaving him...so he asked me to get the preacher to come and talk to him. :)

I had already left him once already , when I was pregnant with our second baby..and that was just 17 months married!!

I cannot speak for you, but my wife and I really did not really know each other when we got married. I believe God had a hand on us choosing who we did as He knew what was coming and was prepared for it, even if we were not.

It is kind of funny how my husband and I met.... We went to the same church,
same schools same neighborhood and hang outs......... Even at work he was there
before me and had to leave to go to the service, [ we did not know each other all that time] I started to work there and shortly
a few years he came back and we were married....... 1957...... He passed away 2 years
ago in June....... That's funny also, since I over did smoking and drinking I was going
to go home first....... I guess GOD has plans for me ?

My husband bends over backwards for me and my daughter. Always goes the extra measure. :) It is hard to speak his love language sometimes or understand his. I think marriage is all about patience and learning communication which takes more then just a few years to master. :) Married since 1976. That is awesome. :) I was negative ten, so sorry I didn't make it to y'alls wedding. :)

I am uncertain why there seems to be a problem for some people with this. The picture I posted on post #808 I simply used their "upload a file" at the lower right hand corner of the reply box and followed directions. It worked just fine. Perhaps others or a moderator will have an answer.

Wow, you are blessed with lovely teeth. I dare not smile like that...I was born in England during the war...and teeth in my teen were the bottom of the list.
I don't know anyone in my age group who wore braces on their teeth.
My teeth are crooked ...I have always hated them.
But then again...my hubby and I often notice that so many of the British film stars have crooked teeth....so I guess it was not an important thing in England.

Yes it seems that there are quite a few here that had to hit the bottom of the Pit, as there is only one way to look, UP!
Married 35 yrs, met and were married 4 months latter????????????? I duno! we must have been meant to be.

Wow, you are blessed with lovely teeth. I dare not smile like that...I was born in England during the war...and teeth in my teen were the bottom of the list.
I don't know anyone in my age group who wore braces on their teeth.
My teeth are crooked ...I have always hated them.
But then again...my hubby and I often notice that so many of the British film stars have crooked teeth....so I guess it was not an important thing in England.

Well, I do have a partial you can't tell though...my family in general do not have very strong teeth...both my parents had full denture sets in their 30's!! I have a brother 1 year older than me and he too has a full set. I find that ruler straight teeth just do not look normal and crooked teeth can IMO be quite charming and fits the persons personality, gives character in ones smile.
