I am praying for them, hgomez2. I am very saddened for not only the tragedy, but also the son involved... everyone please pray for all of them, but especially him; he needs to know that he doesn't have to let this ruin his life forever -- pray that he can forgive himself.

The problem is that you can't see little kids. Even when you are walking, it is easy to trip over one of the little rascals. They just run around aimlessly -- without a clue. They have no ability to evade or dodge a collision with another person (especially a big guy like me). I tell you, little kids are annoying.The whole thing sounds unfortunate, but when you are backing an SUV out of the drive way, you frankly have blind spots. If a small little kid is behind you, and you can't see them --- how are you supposed to know they are there?
