It basically says that formerly it was usually men that got tattoos.

Now, though, it seems that so many women have it done also.

The poll question simply asks, Is it a viable means for both genders to express faith convictions in testimony.

He jumped right in. Could be why the grand kids aren't into them. Like my husbands hair is long and both boys shave their heads. Lol
I guess it's a bit like how, while many granddaughters will have long flowing hair, not a few grandmothers have the urge to keep theirs cropped razor short. The fact that your son had the urge to jump right in to start getting tattooed - which both genders have the urge to do now, of course - is a bit like the urge to get one's hair cropped razor short, or like the urge to pierce one's ears - (which again both genders do now, right?)

@Waiting on him :

FYI: I thought of our brief discussion on the other thread from Ephesians 2:

(She seems pleased with it, anyhow, doesn't she?)

She certainly used a lot of strong, firm pigment when she needled in the design; and maybe it's one of her 'trademark' methods?

It is just in anticipation of fading

I have a mad hatter hat on my shoulder.....she did it as well. It started out just as dark as the cross and has faded nicely after 4 years
