I will allow multiple choice votes up to 2, just incase you use your your phone 50% laptop 50% to access the forums.

Threw in the potato option just for fun, it could be a winner? :p

The poll maths code has an error in it in that the results given are a percentage for the first three on the list, which give the percentage out of 100% but if you add the percentages listed the poll gives a total percentage wise of 141.7 %.

This is something that the administrator "experts" should fix pronto before this function is allowed to be used again. It is the second time that the poll gives the wrong answer. The analysis of the data cannot add up all of the votes given with which to work out the actual percentages of the respective votes.

I wonder whether if this happens with other multiple choice polls outside of these forums.

Perhaps you should check who wrote the code first. Was it written inhouse or was it an app that was purchased and then modified in house.

I suspect that the poll app is being used outside of its initial purpose of a three question choice of "Yes", "No" or "I do not know." by people providing more than three options within with poll questions
