Dear Truth...that which I made bold is a evil lie from the Devil, the father of all liars....a thief and a robber. Break that curse from over her.
She did not 'earn' this by some unforgiven sin. That makes God out to be a tyrant.

The devils thrive of sorrow, fear, and sadness...it is candy for them, they feed on it.

We are praying for God's glory cloud to cover you and your house.
Devils hate the glory anointing.

Love and hugs...H

I do understand what you are saying! It is when she is in unbearable pain, She then cries out to the Father!!!! What have I done to deserve this?
I have made every effort to reestablish that God is not punishing Her! She has been my rudder, when I start to say or do thing's I shouldn't!
I Truly Appreciate All You Folk's for Your Support!

Sorry I just Favor in you as a go to person, Today Oct 22 will most likely be Cheryl's last Doctor Visit, they want to see Her no matter what! Third Doctor DR ONeill, Irish born, Cheryl is also Irish, should have gone to Him First! Anyway need to get Order's for Hospice from a Doctor! Sad Truth is that they said that she needed Treatment, which She has not received as yet, and she is no longer who she was, My best Friend has slowly disappeared,

May prayer and the Scriptures be the living elements in which you and your wife move in the days ahead. Praying...

Dear Glenn
What used to be 'normal' is now a 'new normal' for you and Cheryl.
Your loss is by inches, :( whereas Gary's ( Triumps) loss with his wife was such a shock. I'm not sure which one I would be the easier to take. Oh dear Lord. So sad.
I wish some of us lived closer and could 'walk ' every day with you and Cheryl until she goes to the glorious reward.
I hope neither of you are beating yourselves up with the "if only's".

I have a very close friend here in town. She has spent every Friday with me for 15 years ...we have been on holidays together. ( Dave doesn't like mountains and lakes..so Mary and I go)

Two years ago her doctor told her she needed a colonoscopy as she was very anemic and they wanted to see where she was losing blood.
She refused.
A few months ago she was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer which has spread from colon to liver and lungs.

I asked...if you could do it again, would you have the colonoscopy?
She calmly answered - "No, when the doc said I needed one I prayed. I did not feel any urgency to have it...I just felt to pray."
Then she said..."live or die, both are a Win in God. ..He knew then, and He knows now. So no regrets...I would do it all over again just like I have done it...I have peace."

So, I hope neither of you have any "What if's" ....You also prayed and things are where they are now...you've been led to some good doctors.. I just wish we were all closer to you for support. That part does make me sad.
I have walked though this 'end bit' with three people and seen them through to the other side... So I am praying that Father gives you a word for Cheryl every day as He did for me...she will need to live her spiritual life via you... as things get harder...you will be her rock and go-to place.
God will give you the words...He is faithful. He is awesome...

I am rambling here...sorry...
We are strengthening your 'arms' in prayer....as Hur and Aaron did when they held up the arms of Moses when Joshua was at battle in the valley.

Ex 17
12 "But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. "

No words can express the sorrow I feel as I read what you've written about your beloved wife. I lost my husband, my best friend, a few years ago, and at times, it seemed that I wouldn't make it through the sorrow, but He is getting me through it!! He will get you through this! My prayers are with you both.

Dear Brother Truth, I certainly don't know the way our LORD is leading your wonderful wife Cheryl at this very moment, but over and over through experience I have learned to trust that all things pertaining to us work together for good that love God. Keep the faith in this trial of your faith, and watch for the glory that will be manifest in Cheryl's homegoing if that's what is to be, and my heart and prayers continue for you both in Jesus' precious name. Amen.

DEAR, Everyone! Went to Doctor's visit on Monday, DR ONeill took one look at Cheryl, and asked Me what is it you want to do! I Expressed Cheryl's wishes, No surgery, No Kemo, and that She did not want to Pass in the Hospital. So He Ordered Hospice care, Monday and Tuesday were a Nightmare, SOOO Much Pain, and incontinence. I am alone so it was very difficult to even move Her without seeing Her wrench from the pain. The people I work for have given me all the time it takes off from work, My Boss, Jan came over this morning and helped me remove Her garments and was able to give her a bed bath and clean sleep ware, also received a Hospital bed and Med's for Her Pain today. She is now resting comfortably, little or no pain, just a matter of time. I sit with Her, and express My Love for Her, but I don't know if She is aware of anything now, the Med's are Morphine! Well, She is at least at Peace, She never said anything to God except, whatever is your Will Father!
Thank You All For Your Support and Prayer's. Shalom, Peace to you All!

Praise God brother, it appears God has answered her calls to Him, and is at perfect peace.

I don't know if She is aware of anything now
It's for sure I don't know either, but I've read several reports of many in comas and such that survived saying that they heard everything said to them by their loved ones; prayerfully it gives you the peace that passes understanding too. Thank you so much for the report.
Love you and Cheryl in Jesus' name.

I'm sorry you have to go through this Truth, it makes my heart hurt for you. And Triumph, and Mayflower's aunt and so on with others on here. I have a friend who just tonight died in the hospital. It seems it is all around us personally sometimes, and it is hardest, IMO if you were not sure the loved one was saved or not. How do unbelievers ever receive comfort?
God Bless you brother and may God keep Cheryl pain free and you in His perfect peace. His arms are ever open to all of us.

Dear Glenn
Thank you for the update. It helps us pray more wisely. ♥︎

You are both is such a tough place right now. Something neither of you signed up for!!
The verses that God gave me for my dad when I was helping him through his last weeks was from 2 Cor 4:17--
" For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;
18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven
"

I held on to that tightly and quoted it out loud every day many times... PAIN and agony are such enemies.
A Christian does not fear death ..we know Jesus conquered death and took it's sting. But many of us ( of which I am chief ) ..fear the pain that the Enemy sends to distract us from the presence of the Lord.
( I'm pretty sure this is what Jesus was feeling on the cross when the pain overcame God felt presence and we feel alone.)

It must be so hard for you to feel the helplessness that a care giver goes through while supporting a loved one. I'm sure Cheryl is more 'there' now than here...and probably longing to be free and with the Lord.
I'm so glad that you have help. Will you have a regular hospice nurse now, who can pop in and give you support. I am unfamiliar how things in USA work. Up here my dad had a nurse who would come in once a week and check on things.

Our thoughts prayers and love is with you both.
Every blessing....Helen & Dave.

If God visited every one of our sins with sickness we'd all be dead dead dead.

But praise God His mercies are NEW every morning so we have hope in our bosom.

Pray for the sick and afflicted without assigning blame or cause. They don't need it. One great affliction at a time is sufficient.

And I so agree with this that Larry2 mentioned here..we, God's children should be looking for the signs of a glorious entrance into the kingdom. I believe in the ministry of angels , always have. So many times I have heard of angels manifesting themselves when the child of God is ready to depart.
I didn't expected to SEE them the night my dad died, but I did expect them to be there, very present. So when I saw them that night..I knew it would be in a few hours that he would go... I told my dad that they were here to escort him... ♥︎

Bygrace said;

"The devils thrive on sorrow, fear, and sadness...it is candy for them, they feed on it."

Once the Lord gave me a very telling dream. In the dream it was night and I was walking around outside just taking it easy and eating a sandwich. As I did a small rather ugly little gnomelike creature sort of like Yoda showed up at my feet obviously begging a bite of my food.

I broke off a portion and threw it to him. Suddenly out of nowhere I was surrounded by a veritable crowd of these things all looking up at me begging for a handout.

I recollect an expression of sudden enlightenment coming over my face as I realized if we throw the devil a crumb he'll want the whole thing.

Oh Lord help me to never never throw the devil even the smallest crumb.

Corrie Tenboom said "the devil always begins his talks with me with POOR Corrie" .

Wow Frank...that was quite the dream and spot-on.
As you may know by my posts, years ago, for four years Dave and I were in the deliverance ministry. ( ie our focus for a while)
In that we leaned how the love and feed off the atmosphere which is negative, complaining, sad, painful...any of those thing are their dwelling place.
More reason why praise, worship, rejoicing, and a positive atmosphere brings the healthy presence of God's kingdom into ours.
Not for nothing did Paul tell us to rejoice in all things and "praise at midnight "...

Isa 61 "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings...........
....... to comfort all that mourn;
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified."

Your reference to Paul and Silas praising God at midnight is of course a reference to praising God when things are blackest.

A wonderful thing he showed me in that account is that the Holy Spirit had to tell Paul that the jailer was about to kill himself.

It was dark in those cold cells and lights had to be brought. Through the gift of the word of knowledge Paul was shown what the jailer intended to do even though he couldn't see him or especially know his thoughts.

Thank you for the Scripture's. Yes three times a week for bed bath, but no assistance with a nurse that I know of as yet, tomorrow a Social Worker is to come and help with final Arrangements!
I have taken the time to pick Garment's for her internment, Her most liked stuff!
