I am so very sorry to hear about your mum - thinking of you as you deal with this loss on top of what you are dealing with personally ( health wise ) Also for all the financial pressures this may bring with endeavouring to sort out funeral costs.
Thank you

Wow - that’s awful, thought it was bad enough over here.
The funeral industry has been in charge of it all for many years....and they can charge whatever they like.
It’s such a rort! Especially when people are so emotionally vulnerable.

Do you have what we call “Bare Cremations”?....which is a company (among others who are jumping on board) that picks up the body and creates it, then delivers the ashes back to the family, who can then organise a memorial service at home or at the venue of their choice. It’s just a few thousand dollars, and is within most people’s budget.
Ashes can then be scattered in a beautiful nature setting rather than in an ugly overcrowded cemetery.

Both my mother and my husband are resting peacefully in the most beautiful place of their choice. Neither wanted to be in a cemetery. And to visit their resting place is a serene experience. When it’s my turn, I will join them.

Not heard of ‘ Bare Cremations ‘ but over here you can pick the ashes up anyway and scatter them where you choose ( always been that way ) I did have to get permission for my dads ashes as he wanted to be scattered in the gardens of a public park as he use to go there and listen to the bands play. If You want the ashes to be scattered at the crematorium itself you have to pay !

The funeral home that handled my mom’s funeral was awesome. I had her buried in another state and they took care of all the arrangements, helped me write a eulogy and took the insurance policy as payment. I didn’t owe anything, she had just enough insurance to cover the expenses.

I wonder if I can have my ashes scattered in the right-front bunker by the first green at the course where my golf league plays. I’ve died in that sand trap many times.

I'm walking on my own now. The nerve pain in my left leg has gotten much better.
My right knee is bothering me, I'm putting Frankencence, BPC 157, heat lineament and DMSO on it.
I'm getting another steroid shot in it February 2nd.
I am still waiting on a decision from disability.
I have applied for a job as a 911 dispatcher but if I continue improving I may be able to go back to my previous job. That would be great.
I will eventually have to get knee replacement. I have to lose another 60 pounds before I can have the surgery, I have lost 40 so far.

I had a physical Tuesday for disability. The nurse said that I wasn’t faking like most people she sees. I’m still trying to get back in the habit of working my upper body with bands. Waiting on a decision from disability and hanging in there.
