It doesn't matter what kind of moral life he lived before...it's how he lives now....just like King David....he wasn't the best example of moral living until God dealt with him...That is fascinating , but I am more drawn to the desire and passion of the two elderly women - that’s what started the revival. That’s what is praise worthy.
There is just so much in between all of what happened then, and where it led now , would make an interesting topic to discuss.
I mean , Donald didn’t follow the right path, but does it mean that the prayers of His mother influenced where he ended up.
His business life, and personal life were not really good, BUT, does it give hope that Gods will will be done in the end within our lives- we end up where we are meant to be.
Or the many coincidences in life can always be found, and used to promote a truth that perhaps is not really there ..
I was always taught to go back to the beginning with anything, where it started......and that for me is the faith and desire of two elderly ladies who cared about their own little community- it had a rippling effect. That truly should give us hope, we all live in ‘ little ‘ communities ( well Little in the US is probably big to me !! Lol )
Thanks for sharing the video H2S xx
It’s intriguing, and I love those kinds of links from the past to the present.
My thought above are not to invoke a negative discussion, they were just things that came to mind as I reflected on what was relayed x

You completely misunderstood what I was saying - and my intentions.
I wasn’t judging him , I was talking generally about the curious way in which God works at times. I was merely expressing some questions that I found intriguing to consider after watching the video.
Never mind - I will just mull them over by myself x

I apologize for responding rather harshly....I was more drawn towards that speaker and his emotional cry to pray for revival for we never know what God is doing through the lives of those who pray for it and how it even begins. You completely misunderstood what I was saying - and my intentions.

Pray is always a catalyst for revival and it has far reaching impact even many years after the revival has waned.

Hi. During the 2016 Republican primary season, I was watching people coming out from a large Trump meeting. As people were exiting the building, a T.V. crew were asking them how the meeting was. One person said, "It was like a revival in there." Have you ever heard something for the first time and instantly knew it was true? This was one of those times for me. This was sure an unexpected way to end my day. Great video! Shalom. This gave me chills!

To revive someone means to resurrect them. It seems that is discussed much in the Bible, but this is a praise thread in the praise section and not a place for discussions like that. You should ask your question in an appropriate sub-forum!Where does the Bible say have a revival?
To revive someone means to resurrect them.
@VictoryinJesus More broadly, 1 Corinthians 15 is such an encouraging chapter, leading to the victory and the steadfastness of verses 57 and 58.‘to revive someone means to resurrect them.’ Wow, Amadeus. Bring them to Life. It is that ‘to revive someone’. See so many today beat down by this world who need ‘to be revived’.
Quite true. I did a study of revivals whilst I was in Bible college. The outstanding feature was always prayer. You may like this link to stories about revivals: - Revivals Index

Wow! Yes, I have seen that God has His mighty hand on Donald Trump! God’s will be done concerning him! I have also seen the window this man mentions. May ALL God’s people see it!!! Let revival fall on America!!!This gave me chills!

Lately, I have been thinking of the 45 churches that inhabit where I live and I realized that not one of them has any vision for a move of God that would sweep people into the kingdom. They all do the same thing every week with their own particular emphasis.
And because they are so separated and distant from each other I was thinking God how can we ever work together?
And then it came to me. As is so often God uses a remnant to accomplish his purposes and it could be the case here. I know there are some people in some churches who do pray outside of the obligatory 30 minutes a week, and I know that God commands the blessing when the brethren dwell together in unity so..... why not operate on this basis.
I came up with the name of Gideonites and it would be a prayer ministry inviting all the churches to invite at least one person to be part of a group that could pray as the Spirit leads without the shackles of denominational dictates and with a particular focus on revival.
Will have to see where this leads once the virus lockdown is over.
