I do not think people are not interested. i think they just attempt to get their the wrong wayWhy aren't more people interested in the pressing into the kingdom?
That's right. The error of our ways....as in..."there is a way that seems right to a man"... is to think that we can rest on just a first step in a race...that being born again into the family of God (Spiritual Israel) is all that God expects of us.If your not adopted Into Gods family, Born again, Saved, Justified etc etc.
You can try all you want to enter whatever kingdom you think you are entering,
You will fail
I think it's both. People are not interested because it seems impossible. It takes real faith. And there is a lack of knowledge and understanding of what the kingdom of God is. It must be sought for in the right way...by faith.I do not think people are not interested. i think they just attempt to get their the wrong way
The question is, Will you sin willfully, As Israel did when they were confronted with the final test. To enter the promised land. And they refused based on lack of faith, and because if it never entered their rest. That's right. The error of our ways....as in..."there is a way that seems right to a man"... is to think that we can rest on just a first step in a race...that being born again into the family of God (Spiritual Israel) is all that God expects of us.
We are the SAME as the Israelites in the wilderness...just on a higher plane. They were Israelites by human birth undertaking a physical race. We are born of the Spirit undertaking a spiritual race.
We will both mostly fail our calling. Few of us will penetrate into the promises of God. They (the Israelites) are an example for us...of what NOT to do. Yet, because of the lack of diligence in obedience to the words of the Lord (and unbelief) few will enter in. So many of us will be likewise cut off just as they were. God is NOT a respecter of persons. Instead of being high-minded...thinking we are special...we should fear.
It is impossible.. We can not put ourselves in the kingdom. We have already failed and are not qualified.I think it's both. People are not interested because it seems impossible. It takes real faith.
I agree. By faith. in the work of God. Not our own works..And there is a lack of knowledge and understanding of what the kingdom of God is. It must be sought for in the right way...by faith.

Exactly my point. We all will come to a point we need to make a decision. Do we trust od to get us to the kingdom. Or will we revert to our true faith and belief system, that we were better off the way we were before as slaves. and hence travel the wilderness, but never come to the true experiential knowledge of the truth
It is impossible.. We can not put ourselves in the kingdom. We have already failed and are not qualified.

God receives faith. When He does He translates us to be where He is. Otherwise it is an assumption and presumption...a religious ideology that gets in the way of faith. Many claim to have faith. but you will see their faith is in self not God.
entering into the promised land. Or the kingdom of God.Entering into what? We have the same test that the Israelites had. The gospel was also preached to them. Our gospel is about salvation FROM sin and into an intimate walk with God...Christ as our Mediator.
We are failing the same way as they were. By unbelief we think it impossible to enter into the kingdom realm of the Spirit there to walk as Jesus walked. Abiding IN Him.
Exactly my point.
No.When we PLEASE God with a faith that is undivided..like a child...then God translates us into the kingdom of His dear Son. Read the bible.
yes it is now. So when will you enter in?Not a historic belief...but a faith that moves mountains NOW! Enter NOW. Salvation is NOW. The KOG is NOW.
I am still on earth, God is in heaven, I will not be transported to where he is until i die.God receives faith. When He does He translates us to be where He is. Otherwise it is an assumption and presumption...religious ideology that gets in the way of faith.
Yes. The kingdom of God IS the Promised Land...to be where He is..to abide in the house of God....now and forever.entering into the promised land. Or the kingdom of God.
John said it is hear and now.. And we can be in it this very moment, The only problem is, as Jesus said. We must be born again if we want to enter into it.Yes. The kingdom of God IS the Promised Land...to be where He is..to abide in the house of God....now and forever.
The Exodus story is an example of the Christian walk. Entering into the Promised Land? Not so much, for those who have had prior experience in life. It seems too impossible for most.
Same thing for the kingdom realm of the Spirit now. Being born from above gives us an equivalent status to being born in Israel. However, our race is not to a physical place (Israel according to the flesh)...but a spiritual place (Israel according to the Spirit).
A wonderful parallel that helps us understand the race of faith...and why so few will run the race and win the prize.
John said it is hear and now.. And we can be in it this very moment, The only problem is, as Jesus said. We must be born again if we want to enter into it.
Bing born again is through faith in the work of the cross.. Thats it, nothing more nothing less.
This is not about earning but surrendering. It costs us everything to be filled with the fullness of God. Just like a cup needs to be empty in order for it to be filled again. Just like we need to be stripped of self before we can be clothed with power. Think more deeply about this...if you can.You can;t enter by earning it, or by working
yes. We are born into the race of faith.
Your right, He said it is finished (paid in full)No. The work of Christ is a done deal...
Acknowledge what?we don't need to acknowledge that in order to enter into Christ. Just like we don't need to acknowledge gravity in order to fall correctly.
Its about earning, Twist it however you want. This is not about earning but surrendering. It costs us everything to be filled with the fullness of God. Just like a cup needs to be empty in order for it to be filled again. Just like we need to be stripped of self before we can be clothed with power. Think more deeply about this...if you can.
This was my response to what you wrote..This is not about earning but surrendering. It costs us everything to be filled with the fullness of God. Just like a cup needs to be empty in order for it to be filled again. Just like we need to be stripped of self before we can be clothed with power. Think more deeply about this...if you can.
Why aren't more people interested in the pressing into the kingdom? How can people miss the zeal of Paul to do that very thing? How can people miss the point of the gospel?
I wouldn't call turning away from the ways of the world rebellious. It's downright revolutionary! ;)Years ago I had to learn the hard lesson of taking up my cross and walking with the Lord daily fleeing youthful lusts and learning to become rebellious... against the darkness and evil in this world in which we live.
Rebellion can be a good thing if we rebel in the way Jesus did which was rejecting the darkness of this world and abiding in God walking in agreement with Him and His ways of being and doing right.
I had to learn that the definition of resisting the devil is submitting my entire life unto the Lord (James 4:7) which leads to turning away from the power of the devil unto the power of the Lord (Acts 26:18)
So yes... pressing into the Kingdom of God (righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost spoken of in Romans 14:17) is what one must do to have a relationship with the Lord and go beyond just giving lip service that we are a Christian.
