“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.” (1 John 3:9–10) (KJV 1900)

    Men BECOME "changed".

    God does not CHANGE.
The Word of God, Jesus does not CHANGE.
The Power of God, Christ does not CHANGE.

If you keep reading your Bible, God calls things that are NOT as though they WERE.

God established the relationship of a MAN, who is head of a family/Tribe, calling that MAN a FATHER.

Moses established the relationship of God to Men, that God IS THE FATHER ABOVE ALL Fathers who are earthly men.

God sent forth, Himself to men ON EARTH, and SAID, TO men on Earth, call HIM, the Son of God.

God specifically revealed....He would BE "A" Father to thee God ON Earth, called the Son, and the Son would be TO God in Heaven, "A" Son.

You can proclaim ANYONE you choose, to be your "son". Do you have MORE authority than God Himself?

The Son on Earth revealed, He and His, Father....THEE Heavenly Father, Are ONE.

    ONE WHAT?

Well, THAT, is the individuals choice to believe. I happen to believe God IS ONE GOD, and also "JESUS" is the SAME ONE GOD.

When it is all said and DONE...
Father and Son are not the highlight of the Testimony....

Because when it is all said and DONE...
A man SHOULD KNOW and UNDERSTAND
    WHO their GOD IS.....

    THEE ONE;
    Lord God Almighty
    (Word Lord Power)

Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

THEE ONE Lord God Almighty of HIS PEOPLE.
    Himself, His Word, His Power.

    Glory to God,

Yep. Very familiar with that scripture.

It is specifically speaking of whosoever is born of God doth NOT "COMMIT" SIN.

Did you FORGET your earthly body WAS FLESH BORN IN SIN? DID COMMIT SIN? MADE YOU A SINNER?

You were NOT .... UNMADE a Sinner.
You were FREED from that bondage of the Consequences of YOU BEING A SINNER.

You were ALSO forgiven for BEING A SINNER.

You were ALSO...Freed from being able to "AGAIN" COMMIT" sin.

You were ALSO...given confirmation that YOUR BODY is JUSTIFIED "to BE" RAISED UP GLORIFIED" and it is THEN....you NO LONGER shall BE CALLED A "SINNER".

In the mean time.....YOU ARE NOT "sinless".
Your BODY OF FLESH WAS born IN SIN, and your BODY has not been CHANGED.

Remember.....YOUR BODY is still existing in earthly Sinful Flesh.....Yet Justified to BE MADE CHANGED to Glorious...that has NOT YET come to pass.

While a Converted mans Bodily Sin IS Forgiven and COVERED with Gods INDWELLING SPIRIT/LIGHT....and remembered NO MORE BY HIM....your BODY has NOT YET been glorified.

And forward, being BORN of God, relieves you of Being ABLE to Further COMMIT SIN....ALSO BY the INDWELLING SPIRIT/POWER of God.

It does NOT YET render you SINLESS.....until
    YOUR BODY is GLORIFIED.

You ARE a FORGIVEN SINNER....WHO CAN NO LONGER "COMMIT" SIN.

    Glory to God,
    Taken

Sin is not inevitable if you walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.

    GINOLJC, to all.

since you're going to leave the Holy Spirit out, ok, let's examine the one's whom you calls the Father and the Son.

Not saying that you're right or wrong, but if you can, reconcile these two verses for me.

verse #1. John 1:3 "All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made". (this is the Son correct?). now, the second verse.

verse #2. Isa 44:24 Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself". (this is the Father correct?).

my question is a simple one, "who made ALL THINGS?". the Father or the son?

Do you not READ "AND" comprehend?

Why are you telling me in your words, what I just said in my words?

You stray from the Point....YOUR BODY! It is NOT SINLESS! It is NOT glorified!

    Glory to God,

"Thy Redeemer" indicates the Son. And although the Son (the Word) is declared to be the Creator several times, He did not create apart from the Father and the Holy Spirit. So God (Heb Elohim) speaks of the triune Godhead involved in creation.

how ya been, 101? And i would say obviously "no" there wadr, as i am not required to abide by your truncated definition of Word, i mean wadr you are going to be trying to stuff "Bible" in there in a minute so to speak, see,
"Gospel" is also Word, "Spirit" is Word, etc
iow just bc the Word became flesh does not mean you have a corner on the definition of Word ok,
Word existed before It became flesh, and etc

Hi bbyrd009, is you still keeping everyone stright?

Correct, is not the WORD the Spirit, who is God... see John 4:24a .... (smile). which confirm John 1:1

most true, the Word is GOD, one Person, the same in the begining.

we personify many things and even concepts in order to further illuminate them, yes, but fortunately we also have Scripture that directly nixes the pov of any actual persons in God just in case this pov is forwarded?

So--you forgot "yes or no?" there i guess, right where it might have come in handy imo :)--bc the answer is "yes, and no" imo

Here's a web page I found that gives a good presentation of the Trinity.
5 Scriptural Points to Help You Understand the Trinity By Nabeel Qureshi

Especially interesting is Isaiah 48:12-16 at the end of the article. It shows the triune God in the OT. I condensed it for clarity as follows.

““Listen to me, O family of Jacob, Israel my chosen one! I alone am God, the First and the Last.” (Isaiah 48:12) (NLT)

“Come closer, and listen to this. From the beginning I have told you plainly what would happen.” And now the Sovereign Lord and his Spirit have sent me with this message.” (Isaiah 48:16) (NLT)

“This is what the Lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow.” (Isaiah 48:17) (NLT)
